Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Costa is my upmost favourite coffee barrista service and this store is my regular store. It is always looking clean and tidy and staff are very pro actively reminding customers of social social distancing👍🏼👍🏽. However, lately at this store i felt a little let down as the quality of the coffee preparation especially the flat white is more like a milky coffee, not the frothy silky style im use to at the other costa's or how it use to be here. Also i placed an order to collect my coffee and a sausage bap however on the app the £2.00 breakfast deal didn't work and when i went to collect there was no sausage bap available for this store. Also I noticed that this store now charge more for takeaway than sitting in which i believe is reverse to how it should be dont get me wrong i get there encouraging more people to sit in but correct me if im wrong other Costa's are not doing this? I still enjoy Costa and will return but i only hope the quality gets...

I visited the store on Thursday morning with my 2 year old and my baby. The moment I walked through the door and joined the queue a really kind young man came up and asked me if I wanted him to reserve a table for me with a high chair.

After I ordered my food the lady behind the counter kindly carried my tray to my table for me.

This was my 1st visit to a coffee shop with my 2 year old and 5 month old by myself and I was a bit nervous about all the little logistics of how it would all play out but the kind gestures from the staff making my life so much easier without me even having to ask really made an impact and made the experience so much nicer for me!

I wish I had taken the name of the man to thank him for being so thoughtful, I got the impressing he might be the supervisor or manager.

I will certainly be returning with the kids for a lovely trip...

Absolutely incompetent and rude staff. Second year in row sixth time there trying to use valid, fresh Costa coffee gift cards and they say sorry invalid, out of date etc etc. Go to any other place and they go through straight away. I tend to get a few hundred pounds a year of gift cards that people buy me. Visit all other branches of costa coffee often. Rude staff and grubby place!!!! Absolute joke of a place that I’ve had enough of. I wouldn’t mind so much but last time I complained a year ago head office said they would pass this on to the Regional Manager to sort out. Obviously after six visits he’s done nothing. I will literally never go to this...
