Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

I wasn't given the right order and when asked for the drinks I ordered I was met with attitude when I just wanted the drinks I ordered! When given the 'correct' order, my daughter was given real milk in her iced latte when I ordered her soy milk as she is vegan and I was given the soy milk latte - which I do not particularly enjoy. I was also charged for a large but given a medium drink so when my daughter went up to resolve the issue, the barista who served me initially called 'Charlie' started loudly arguing with my daughter and when my daughter asked for the difference in money back, Charlie said 'ok I'll give you the 30p back' while shrugging her shoulders and acting as if we shouldn't be getting the money back. This is not the customer service we're usually met with in this costa so we were frankly appalled and will no longer be visiting this costa. Popped in for a quick cup of tea and toasted sandwich while in Yeovil. Tea was an easy one even if the cutlery was still filthy. Not required so did not take it further. Waited ages for the toastie and they were brought out staggered so we ate a half each and waited for the other to arrive! Misrepresentative image of what to expect compared to what was served. For nearly £5 each the sandwich was a complete rip off and didn't even have enough 'sauce' to cover the bread let alone lift it with a chunky filling.

Staff were friendly but the place felt very much like a back street cafe with extortionate prices that did not reflect the quality.

I wanted to show my other half the highlights of Yeovil town centre and after the wander around the Quedam centre we needed refreshments so popped in to the local Costa coffee on the high street. We chose a cheese and onion toastie and a piece of lemon cake each and two lattes. The bill was around £16.00 which was good for two people to eat lunch. As we were sitting in the window people watching the staff were busy sanitizing the tables and cleaning everything up. The staff were very friendly and helpful to us.
