Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Fast coffee? No chance. Normally wait for at least 20mins for a takeaway coffee, even if no queue. This morning I walked out after waiting at the till for 40mins behind a line of frustrated customers watching the inexperienced staff (no management to be seen!) mess up 3 drinks before telling each other how to do their jobs. The only time this shop runs well is when the girl with blonde hair (who has been there for a number of years) is working, all other staff, including the store manager, just don’t have a clue or evidently care about...

Worst Costa I've ever been. Thankfully I had a free drink so th e ghastly experience was at least no expense. Normal costa queue when you arrive. Really unusual that the customers who all glared at you when walk in. I pass through this town for work and first am visit for a coffee. The 4 customers ordered complex beverages which led to a further 20min wait for a take out latte. Barista got drinks wrong multiple times so it took 35 mins to get my basic take out drink. Poor customer service, one colleague just attending to her family on a table, swearing etc. My partner and I wanted a chocolate Frap and I wanted a hazelnut coffee - neither where available. So got another Frap which was basically warm milk. Watched my food get thrown onto the counter then put into a plate. We asked for literally one sauce and they forgot that also. If it was busy I would be a bit more understanding. Won’t be coming back to this costa that’s for sure! Just awful, almost £20 for 2 sandwiches...
