The Cheeky Bean — Restaurant in England

(Was) Possibly the best value, quality coffee in the South West of England. Always tastes great here, and their prices remain reasonable (unlike the Big Chains) I tempted fate by updating my review. Their Prices have just increased!

Always a warm welcome, usually busy, and bucking any downward trend, they have expanded! Another room added at ground level, new layout, furniture etc.

In fine, warm weather it's great to sit outside, and watch “the world go by”. However there is a lot more seating inside. On 2 levels, so explore. Great for coffee, but also a good place to sample veggie/vegan food (although they have just updated their menu, not all veggie any more) for those that can’t give up bacon.

And why not it's delicious and offered at reasonable prices. So go and enjoy...

Steven and the rest of his team made our day so much smoother! We were scouting the prison for an upcoming TV shoot and needed some packed lunches for the long bus journey back to London after an early start. They went out of their way to cater to all our dietary needs and were in touch even in the evening and very early morning to make sure everything went ok. Steven labelled all of the boxes himself so that everyone was sure they got their lunch and everyone raved about the food, one of our producers even said it was the best packed lunch she's ever had on a work trip! We will definitely be calling the Cheeky Bean up again if we're ever in the area, whether for work or just for a bite to eat!...

We needed to head to Shepton to pick something up and were shocked by the decline of the town centre since our last visit. So many shops closed down and barely anyone walking around the streets and it was a week before Xmas when you'd expect the place to be teeming. We looked about for food and there were very few decent looking options but then came across the cheeky bean. The food was delicious and the staff super friendly and the place just had a lovely atmosphere. I really hope it serves as a catalyst for the regeneration of the town centre. Will...
