The time has come. Weâve let too many bad service issues go with Dominoâs, but last night really took the biscuit. Admittedly, we ordered on a âTwo for Tuesdayâ night, so we knew it would be busy; despite that, we didnât expect to have to wait (in total) more than two hours for our pizzas and sides.
Previously from Dominoâs Yate, weâve received burned pizzas, cold pizzas and ones with random toppings we didnât order. Tonight, however, we had a myriad of problems: firstly, the driver couldnât find our house at all - we could see on the little tracker map they were nowhere near our house. Nobody called, despite having our number. Instead, after about an hour of waiting, they went back to base. They didnât remake our order, but sent out the original ones with a different driver. As such, they arrived cold, so we called the store to let them know.
The person we spoke to agreed this wasnât good, so said theyâd remake the order and get the same driver whoâd made it to our house to deliver it, as they would know how to find us, but it might take up to 30 mins. Fine, we said, letâs do that. We should really have called the head office, as theyâd probably have given us a refund - or at least a partial one - as they have done in the past when thereâs a problem, but we couldnât get through. Mustâve been a lot of issues last night.
About 15 minutes later, we get a text message saying our pizzas would be ready to collect in 10 minutes. Surely, not? They were supposed to be delivering it. An hour goes by and they still hadnât arrived, so my husband drives to the store. Guess what? The pizzas were waiting at the store to be picked up đđđ¤Śđťââď¸. The Store Manager (or whomever was running the store last night) didnât offer any refund at all. They also didnât remake them, as once again, they were, at best, lukewarm and at worst, stone cold. So, he took our sad pizzas home and we reheated them in the oven to eat them at 10pm (weâd ordered them originally at 7:45pm).
Really not the type of service you would expect, but I must admit, we have somewhat resigned ourselves to the fact that this IS what you get from Dominoâs. I think weâll be giving it a miss from now on. If weâre really desperate, weâll have to resort to...
   Read moreWhere do I start, me and my partner ordered food roughly around 11:20pm for delivery, we ordered quite close to closing time due to the fact we both finished work at 11pm and unfortunately for us it was the only place open bar Tesco which we really didn't fancy, roughly 40 mins after ordering the food it still hadn't left the shop according to the app, so we we're thinking what's going on, obviously understandable if they're busy, waited an hour after ordering to start calling the store (we really didn't expect them to answer seeing as it was almost 12:30), called the shop a combined 12 times so we gave up and just waited till almost 1am, obviously frustrated so I headed towards the store, parked up and walked to the front of the store which looked empty but understandable that they were closed, as I was a couple of feet away from the door my partner called me and said that the food had left the store and its on its way, no apology from the driver according to my partner and very poor quality of food, not even luke warm - borderline cold infact, I really don't know how they can be such a poor performing dominos week in week out, I've never had consistently bad service from the same place, but obviously I'm the fool who keeps ordering (never again I might add). This store's franchisees must really not care because looking at the reviews its 90% negative about the customer service, and me myself have had poor customer service. I can only imagine this branch going to be less and less popular as time goes on....
   Read moreIt's not often I leave reviews but I am appalled.. Last time I ordered from here I was sent completely the wrong pizza despite it even having the right name on the box! then could not get hold of the store...
Then after a very long and stressful day and not having a chance to get shopping in we ordered again tonight..... The tracker showed the pizza had left the store... an hour later with no pizza and again no way of contacting the store my partner drove down to the store..... It was shut. However... he did see and managed to speak with a dominos worker who he explained the situation to. The dominos worker did apologise but also mentioned they are short on delivery drivers and that there were loads of pizzas left over at the end of the night!! yet was not able to get us ours or sort out the issue as the store was now closed.
What I cannot understand is why nobody called, and the tracker was showing our pizza was cooked and out for delivery! We were not refunded until I contacted customer services.
Really not happy, both of us starving hungry, my child now wide awake and in a few hours I have work. I have no intention of buying from this store again.. absolute joke with no signs of improvement, really...
