eight — Restaurant in England

I’ve been to Meet at Eight a few times for cocktails and to events. The comedy nights are a great evening out with friends. The atmosphere at the events is always good and the venue has been full. I’ve also been in a small group. On all occasions there were ‘specials’ on the cocktail menu. Staff are happy to adapt these to taste preference re switching out soda water. My wife and I are still confused how this place wasn't packed. The staff are great, the drinks and cocktails were the cheapest and best we'd had all holiday traveling around the south west. The vibes are amazing and you feel like you've transported back to the 20's Hollywood. They also had a guy perform doing modern songs in a 20's to 40's style. I only came to Yeovil for a beard competition but got so much more as this place was my ideal spot...

Popped by here for a cocktail with my husband. We were a bit early as the online opening time and the times on the door were different but as we stood outside, the owner saw us waiting and let us in from the cold, opening the bar early for us which was very kind.
