Eltons Piano Cocktail Lounge Bar — Restaurant in England

A total shambles and a waste of time.

Me and my friend decided we would go and have a few drinks, and we decided on Eltons. We were greeted and shown to our table, so far so good!

But that's where it ends.

After finishing up after approximately 6 drinks, and no more than 15 seconds after finishing the last, an old lady came to the table claiming to be the owner.

She told us that we had to leave because we couldn't sit here all night watching the Pianist for free. (If we wanted to do that, we can see it from outside!)

We mentioned that we would be leaving in 10 mins and just wanted to relax.

Well, it was at this point that she decided to throw her toys out of the pram. " There are other paying customers wanting to use the table! " which was an odd statement to make considering there was nobody waiting at the door.

And there the story ends, She made us leave the table after we just bought 6 drinks, cheers!

There are plenty of other local bars and pubs in the area that offer much better value for money and customer service.

Without the Pianist, it's just a glittery cocktail bar that lacks any superior quality.

Tonight me and my partner visited to celebrate our 6 month anniversary. The food was amazing! Staff were very attentive! The entertainment was other worldly. All in all it would have been the perfect night. Due to the amazing service and wonderful atmosphere, we spent plenty and was dancing in our seat with the table beside us. Why the one star you ask? About 2 hours into our visit, shortly after our drinks were cleared, we were approached by a short woman with blonde hair claiming to be the owner of the establishment. It didn't matter to her that we had spent over £160 on food and drink. Since we didn't have anything in front of us at that time, she very rudely stated that we weren't welcome. Even though there was no queue at the door, her reasoning was that other people who would continue to buy drinks could have our table. In overview, our perfect night was ruined by a greedy owner kicking us out even though we had spent a significant amount of money with them. My advice? If you do attend for the amazing food and perfect drink selection or if its the 10/10 entertainment, take your time with your drinks since if there is nothing in front of you, they might...

Me and a friend came here for a few drinks. We decided that Elton’s would be a great idea for a few cocktails as i personally hasn’t been there before! We were welcomed in and quickly served which was great!

After having 6 cocktails and older lady come over claiming to be the owner, she asked if we would like another drink, we decided not to and just wanted to let the drinks go down for 5-10 mins before departing. The old bint replied with “this is not a free cocktail bar to sit and watch piano, if you don’t get another drink you’ll have to leave”… we asked if we could stay for 5 mins minutes and she replied “I’m the owner and if I say you need to go then you need to go”…

Very rude lady…seems like she wants customers to spend their money with out treating them fairly.
