We went here because we had heard good things and we were not let down. The food was amazing, which when it comes to an English breakfast is about quality of product, and the food was certainly quality. I ordered a breakfast with extra black pudding and extra potato rosti. I needn't have added the extra because the breakfast was big enough without but I was feeling pretty greedy at the time. It was fab. My daughter had pancakes, and they were delicious and she couldn't eat them all. My wife had the special Benedict dish and that was lovely too. At one point I held up my arm to get the attention of a waitress/waiter and 3 people turned up. The service was outstanding. I used the breakfast as my yard stick and now I want to try other things on the menu, they menu is a varied breakfast menu that I certainly want to work my way through. I have some very picky comments for improvement, the poached eggs were cooked in vinegar water, no problem there, but make sure they are drained before putting them on the toast, or else the toast tastes of vinegar, and I prefer back bacon to streaky. The price is on the top end of breakfast prices but this is a good example of you don't mind paying for quality. Well done Farmhouse!

I’ve always known this restaurant as specialising in breakfasts, since each item is served all day, but the menu also has a good range of other dishes for either a lunch, brunch or afternoon snack. Despite having a fair number of tables it often gets totally full at peak times so I’d recommend a reservation. Service from all the members of staff is very friendly and efficient, and the service time for both food and drinks is quick. At first the menu might look a little expensive, but once you see the portion sizes you realise it’s actually not bad value for the food. The Farmhouse Full English was really filling in the morning, although the sourdough toast was a little too tough. There’s a nice range of cocktails and aperitifs available from opening and the coffee was good. Seeing the open kitchen is a nice touch and the atmosphere is busy but with the background music pleasant. It is dog friendly, and there were a large number of dogs present on the Sunday morning we visited, but none posed any issues. For a hearty start to the day I’d certainly return and look forward to trying some of their lunch items too.

Superb! And what lovely staff! I visited on a busy Friday and there were not many tables left free as I left. Staff were exemplary - warm, welcoming, polite, super-efficient and obliging. Excellent service all round. Dog friendly. Open 7 days a week. OK prices. Lots of good choices for vegetarians and vegans on an interesting and enticing menu. I had the GF veggie nachos with cheese, Mexican beans, roquito peppers, smashed avocado and sour cream. Wow, what a plateful! Big, deep bowl and very filling. My fork had a badly bent tine, which gave a strange mouthfeel at every bite, but it was changed immediately I mentioned it, by a smiling, beaming waitress. Wasn't an issue at all. Great decor. Prompt service. Only had 2 ladies loos, one of which was out of action, but the loos are spacious, with interesting, funky lights. Also, the loo seat was a higher one, so good for folk with old bones and aching, stiff joints. Don't see many loos like that in places. Deffo revisiting as I need to try the rest of the menu! Very highly recommended for menu and tasty food and a great staff team. Bravo!

First time we've ever been inside, popped in and was like "bit posh here" turns out the place is brilliant, staff are really friendly and polite as xan be, atmosphere was warm and everyone was smiling and I can see why .... the food.

The food was perfect and I mean spot on, cooked brilliantly, tasted fantastic, and pretty big portions to be fair, not the cheapest in the world but not overly priced considering what you get and the high quality produced, the presentation of the food is just as good too and looked almost as good as it tasted (and believe me it looked damn good so imagine the flavours)

Place is spotless too and I mean clean as a whistle, tables were clean and tidy with no ugly stains, cutlery was spotless and cups didn't have watermarks etc (I know it sounds daft but these make a difference) the floors was food free and the bar area and kitchen was flawlessly immaculate, especially the toilets .... weird I know but I have this think about places with clean loo's and these was prestine and that goes a long way with me that shows me how clean the place really is.

The whole joint is beautifully styled (not my personal preference) but it's really done to a high standard and has a really nice industrial feel but warming and welcoming, sat down felt at home and chairs was compfy.

About the staff, really proffesional and friendly, gave us a run down straight away asking if we had been before and explaining table service etc (a few places changed after covid) was waited on hand and foot to be honest and the place wasn't empty so that was really good and the food came pretty quick considering the place was busy, but they had the interaction perfect as they didn't pester us either so was brilliant experience.

Best way to explain out morning trip to the farmhouse is this... we honestly had the impression we was both valued customers, we both thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks (try the caramel latte I urge you and first time iver had french cinnamon toast....certainly won't be the last) and genuinly had a really good time.

I highly recommend this place I really do, I'll be...
