I’m not really a person to complain, but I feel a review is very necessary after the order we placed yesterday. Upon arrival of the food, the bag was that greasy that when the delivery man handed us the food all of it fell out the bottom. As well as this half of the order was missing, we didn’t have the two milkshakes that we ordered. The burgers were completely wrong and they didn’t even put spice on the fries like we asked. We reached out to Uber eats who delivered the food. They specified that we contact the restaurant. I then called up the resteraunt and spoke to the general manager who then told me to speak to Uber eats. I wasn’t overall pleased with the service as it was back-and-forth with the whole conversation we had no resolution putting in place. The only thing that Manager told me to do was to come to the restaurant and come get some more food even though we ordered it and couldn’t make it. Overall I’ve never had an issue with five guys however on this one occasion I feel very let down by this and felt the need to complain as our food was ruined and we never even got a refund , if possible, I would like someone to reach out to this comment and speak to me so we can Come to conclusion and finally settle...

ALMOST KILLED MY FRIEND We went in to Five Guys for the first time ever, the staff member was super lovely but failed to mention that the chips are cooked in peanut oil. Luckily just before she paid my friend noticed a TINY little sign in the background which joyfully proclaims “all our fries are cooked in 100% peanut oil!” So she cancelled her fries off of the order at the last minute thank god. She is deathly allergic to peanuts so eating these chips could have killed her and the staff member made no mention of this when we were ordering. Had my friend been blind or partially sighted then she would’ve been dead! All staff should be telling all customers that the fries are cooked in peanut oil! Crazy! Also, luckily my mate eats meat because there is only one veggie option which is a cheese toasty. Seriously 5 guys? Burger King has a whole vegetarian menu which is freaking delicious, get with the program! And why is it so expensive?! The milkshake is the only thing that I feel warrants the insanely high price tag. A whole meal here would set you back about £15. Total insanity. My worst and most mind-boggling experience in a fast food place I’ve ever had. What the hell. I can’t believe people eat here. Who can...

I have been to a few different Five Guys and it is normally a pleasant experience. I recently took my child and mother to Harrogate Five Guys. Neither have been before and we didn't want to stand around at the entrance whilst they chose so I told the staff that we would take a seat, sort out what we wanted and then I would come back and order. We had been sat for no more than five minutes when a member of staff came over to our table and told us that we had to order food and we could not just sit in the restaurant. This was ridiculous under the circumstances and the tone that the member of staff took was not appropriate for speaking to customers, which is what we were. I repeated that we were working out what we wanted and I would come and order in a minute. I take an issue with the way I was spoken to rather than what they actually said. When I ordered our meals I was served by the same member of staff who was about as friendly as a guard dog and then was very short with me when I explained that I do not have the NHS covid app on my phone. My mother told me that she will never go to Five Guys again because of...

Consistent, quick, filling and tasty. Add to that friendly staff and a clean restaurant - what’s not to like? Excited to go with a colleague as we needed a quick, decent meal after a long day at a conference, sadly they were too exhausted but I went solo anyway. A double bacon cheeseburger and regular fries is enough for any man (seriously, large fries is for sharing). And they do a nice lettuce wrap if you’re gluten free (if you’re dieting, go elsewhere!). The refillable soda is great with so many options that you can’t usually get, lemon Fanta being my favourite but cherry soda’s are there too. It did seem though that you had to stab the screen a bit to get it to work. A rainy Wednesday night in Harrogate, it was practically empty with another solo diner and some take out orders. It was calm, the music wasn’t overbearing and I just enjoyed my meal with as much Mayo/Ketchup as I wanted and left feeling a bit too full - but that’s my fault. The only thing missing seemed to be the unlimited free roasted and salted monkey nuts … maybe they were upstairs but I couldn’t move. Next time?

First time at Five Guys, and although this is a great store with really friendly staff, I was a little underwhelmed by Five Guys in general. I don’t think that should put you off though, I’m a bunless burger kind of girl so I think I’m probably being swayed by price on the basis that you’re left with less food when the bun is removed (yeah, I love food!). It’s a brilliant concept - the menu is tiny but that’s because they’ve chosen a niche and nailed it. The customisation options are fabulous (especially for my dietary special requests!). The patties are really tasty, toppings were a little sparse - but the lettuce bun wrap was great. I’d visit again, but next time I’d upsize my burger. Don’t expect average fast food prices, because it’s not average fast food.

First time visiting five guys. My partner has wanted to eat here for a while! Seeing as we are on holiday I thought, why not. It's a slightly nicer than your McDonalds, very similar to Shake Shack - I'd argue better . The only reason it is getting a 4 star is the fries were not edible. So much salt! Bring Asian I love to flavour my food with salt but it was horrid how salty they were. The burger was lovely and my partner enjoyed the shake. Staff were also surprisingly polite and friendly and even showed us how to get the meal for cheaper.
