Don't usually leave reviews. However, we were sat at a dirty table with lots of dirty pots waiting for someone to clear it before we ate. Whilst waiting we ordered food on app. 3 soft drinks, a main meal and a dessert. Waited 1 hour for the drinks to arrive let alone the food. Once the smothered chicken main meal came we asked the girl to please clear and clean the table and told her we had also ordered 3 drinks and a dessert. She said they were short staffed but she would clean the table (never happened). The girl also said she would bring the dessert out but instead ignored our polite request and cleaned empty tables around us. I ended up eating my food from a dirty table. 20mins after that the 3 drinks came and we reminded the bloke working that we were still waiting on dessert. Rather than wait another hour for dessert which was apparently waiting on the side in the back, my friend went to get a refund for the dessert. The arrogant bar man didn't apologise and informed my friend that he couldn't give proof of refund in any form which made no sense. We left not knowing if the refund went through or not. Better that than wait another hour. We were polite throughout our wait on a dirty table in covid times. Wont be returning. Get...

We called in yesterday after attending Remembrance Sunday and following a quick conversation we decided to try some food, three of us decided to have Nachos my wife and I ordered the Chicken our friend opted for the bbq beef at £15 each we was expecting something amazing how wrong could we be!! On arrival my wife estimated there was about one breaded chicken strip cut into slices and spread over the nachos, that along with a sprinkling of grated cheese, the rest was made up with a dribble of squeeze cheese two tea spoons of guacamole, three teaspoons of salsa but no jalapeños our friends was even worse. Please think twice before ordering as you will be very disappointed. Same meal available at another establishment for £7:50 and unfortunately we had very bad food envy. Come on guys £15 for about £5 worth of food. The other disappointment was obviously the person that brought our food out overheard us discussing it and tried his best to avoid us, in fact it was impossible to get...

I walked in, saw two fruit machines and almost walked out. That would have been a mistake. It's got a pool table at the back and a big TV for sport, it has those two fruit machines, for reasons best known to the owners, but it's actually a pleasant little bar. The sport was MotoGP as it was international weekend for the football, so it's not a purely football or Sky Sports News only place. Very casual, good craft beer options, very nice choice of gins (they also had a double up for £1.50 option on which was great value) and staff were incredibly lovely and very chatty between serving other customers and returning with a big grin to continue chatting. Really do like the casual, friendly, low expectations, relaxed vibe. Quite distinctive for the centre...

Great bottomless brunch enjoyed with friends and family. Timothy Taylor’s Landlord on cask was kept very well, food was nice and the service was superb, didn’t have to leave our table really and they spotted when our drinks were getting low - super nice and friendly staff. Espresso martini was excellent - I’ve had these all over the world and I’ve got to say that one was up there with the best of them - perfectly balanced. Happened to be a day when the cricket was on (fave sport) and there were great quality screens with it on live. Music was nice - Beatles and that kind of thing. Spot on for a Friday afternoon to get us in the weekend vibe. Would definitely recommend and go back.

This pub is in the centre of the lovely spar town of Harrogate just below Betty’s tea room and above Wetherspoons ,We called in this lunchtime for a meal and a drink, the bar is very clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and welcoming,we had a pizza and a burger both were freshly made and very tasty and came with a glass of wine ,the service was fast and efficient, the bar is also dog friendly and our dog willow was given a warm welcome and dish of fresh water, the toilets were spotless and hand sanitizer was located around the bar ,I can’t recommend the harrogate Arms enough as a good dog friendly lunch time stop on your shopping trip around Harrogate.

Had some Korean popcorn chicken for a starter which was a bit spicy and well flavored. Ordered the nachos but had to order some grilled chicken to go with it as the nachos on the menu have no meat options. Nachos were flavorful but it seems I got the last of the bag as most of the nachos were broken little pieces.
