One added star as the majority of the food tasted fresh and delicious, the -3 however was for the UNCOOKED RICE! If you don't already know, uncooked rice is one of the main causes of food poisoning and can be quite serious.

Ordered the Katsu Curry, and curry + chicken was great but the rice was hard in the middle of each grain. Sent it back to the kitchen and had the Chef test the rice, got a fresh serving and reassurance from the Chef saying the rice was cooked and this was the style of the sticky rice and that I must have had a batch from the edge of the pot.

2nd serving was the same, as was the rice of the table adjacent table. Stale rice is hard on the outside, uncooked rice is hard in the centre - rice should NEVER be hard on the inside, especially sushi rice.

The kitchen wouldn't admit to the bad batch of rice, but when the bill came it was discounted by 50%. This for me was very shady and disappointing, a Wagamama's standards should be high enough that the kitchen would stop serving potentially harmful food rather than "paying off" a customer...

Unfortunately we had poor service when visiting here recently. The waitress forgot part of our food order, she then attempted to cover up the fact she forgot part of our order and when we asked again (20mins later) about where it had got to another waitress told us that the fryer they cooked that particular product in was broken and we should have been told that when we ordered our food initially!!! The whole team looked deflated and not interested, we asked for the bill then had to chase someone to pay, I honestly don’t think they’d have noticed if we’d just upped and left. The food we had was good, and whilst I understand how Wagamama’s works, having been a fair few times, I did find it odd that the kids meal we ordered came out last (it was also not what we ordered)! Overall, whilst I normally love Wagamama’s I won’t be visiting the Harrogate branch...

Popped in this evening with the kids as an end of SATS treat. Can’t fault the food, it was delicious as always. The service was pants! Quick to take our order, drinks and first course were delivered timeously. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. Had to flag passing wait staff down to order more drinks, same for the next course. It was as if we ceased to exist. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy - although plenty of attention was being paid to the take-out collections. Had to ask for the main course dishes to be removed from the table when they brought out puddings. I honestly thought the waitress was going to try and squeeze the pudding dishes in the gaps between our dirty dishes. Even had to ask for the bill 3 times! First world problem, I know, and I honestly normally I just go with the flow but we’re talking not even a ‘basic’ level...

A better wagamama in my view. Food was delicious. The mushroom buns some of the best and the sticky vegan ribs delicious and not overly spiced. Had the vegan Karen lomen for main, slight more kick than I liked but with some of the sweeter soy sauce from my wife's vegetarian gyōza it was perfect. I have to mention the 'chicken' in the kare lomen. Seriously it tasted like bbq chicken. Was awesome. Slight delay on our juices, some issue with the apples but the staff were super attentive and kept us entertained. Had a great night, good atmosphere with it being busy but not so full that you felt overwhelmed. A great night for us and thank you to the staff who made the night along with some tasty food 😁

Probably one of my favourite places to eat out especially now that I'm on a high protein macro rich diet whilst staying under 2k cals. In fact the only place I can eat healthy and track my calories whilst still staying in a deficit. The staff are always super friendly and the food always fresh. The food does come as it comes and not all at once but that is the waggers way to keep it all fresh, it's always been like that so deal with it. And Ive got to admit, I love the atmosphere and style of the place with large long sharing tables. Place is always packed full after years and years in town so that says something to me. Price wise even in today's climate I would say it is damn reasonable 😍❤️🔥

I have a gluten allergy (coeliac) and ordered from here for the first time today. The people who work here are amazing, I was put onto the manager straight away who took my order derectly. When I went to collect the food, everyone was friendly and polite. They knew my name, found my order immediately. They knew about my allergy and the food was clearly marked and labeled. I've never felt so comfortable ordering takeaway before and the food was delicious. I actually cried a little with the first mouthful (yeah I know, but it's true) Thank-you everyone at Wagamama for being wonderful and keeping me safe in eating your delicious food.
