Fives Cyderhouse — Restaurant in England

We always love coming here, great atmosphere, place is very clean and staff are always really friendly. My only bad point on this one occasion was the wait staff we had was a little bit muddled and not as attentive as they should have been. Started off really well with a great waiter who made sure we had everything we need but she must have ended her shift or went on break mid-way through because we then had another waiter who was a little less than helpful. Was offered dessert menus after our meal, never got them so had to get them ourselves, which is fine. But then we also had to ask to order dessert and wasnt offered any more drinks so we asked for another drink which again, never came. Gave up in the end. One star lost for this (hopefully) one off bad experience. It's a Sunday so I get that people might go out on Saturday and might not be so 'switched on' for work the next day or just have an off day where things get forgotten- it happens! The food was great as always though, cant fault it at all...

Great selection of food. Something for everyone - burgers, vegan, seafood, you name it! This dog friendly restaurant has outdoor seating, cosy sofas as well as small and large tables for couples and groups alike. I even managed to book a table for 14 with no hassle! Look out for the great western jazz company here as well as local funk bands. If that's not your seen, fives bellow in the basement play something more up tempo til 2am most evenings. Deserts here are to die for - there is no better chocolate fudge cake in Falmouth. My favourite from the savoury menu would be nachos or sweet potato fries. They have a good selection of beers, wines and spirits however there isn't a cocktail menu. Why not try some local...

AVOID AVOID AVOID The manager was very rude to us regarding our kid with additional needs, his comment was "this isn't a creche" kids food came out 20mins before ours and 3 of the 4 kids had finished eating before we even got our food. The food wasnt great and after the comments my partner felt to uncomfortable to stay so we left 2 unfinished meals and drinks due to feeling uncomfortable in that atmosphere.
