Went to Flavourz in Downend, Bristol for the first time last night with my wife and some friends having seen an advert for their Wednesday Banquet at £16.99 per person. You get a starter, main, side dish and either rice or a naan bread from a good choice. When the starters arrived we knew we were in for a good meal and so it proved. Great food. Ordered for takeaway and was really impressed with the quality of the food. Always liked it back when it was Tikka Razz but this was a step beyond even that. Sauce was nice and thick, not watery and runny like some curry takeaways have been providing lately and the food wasn't over loaded with giant chucks of onion which had been another gripe of mine lately. Flavourz has great flavours in their food. We ordered Mix Kabab as a starter which was amazing. For main course we had Tandoori Mix Grill, Lamb Biriyani and King Prawn Biriyani along with Tarka Daal and Saag Aloo as sides. Their King Prawn Biriyani is one of the best one I have ever tried.
