Do not take it wrong the people who work in the coffee shop are lovely and very welcoming. Their products looks and taste nice. Today I was there and ordered 2 avocado on toast and 2 oat coffees. I believe is totally unacceptable to charge nearly £36. I would not mind to pay that price if the quantities are decent but I think generally they believe they feed pigeons. How you can possibly charge £12 for a slice of a bread and half avocado and half tine fig. One slice of bread? I buy the most expensive sourdough bread from M&S which is 800gr. That slice of bread is not more that 60-70gr max. How you can possibly charge nearly 12 pounds for 2 small coffees. The oat capputsino comes in a very small cup while the froth vanish in few minutes. Its ok to charge a lot of mine and money is not a problem but with these quantities I am not sure how they can approach people. I can not digest they charge £12 for a slice of bread. So you go hungry and you leave hungry. The other day I was in a very expensive restaurant at cockfosters and I paid £13 avocado on toast and salmon. The salmon was very big portion and outstanding quantity and quality. So it does not make sense what they charge at frank's but I am sorry I can not go there again as it will make me feel I am absolutely stupid. Once again money is not a problem at all but that one small slice of bread winded me up .... I feel sorry for families . They may end up paying £100 to share 5 slices of bread with 3 avocados and maybe few coffees. I suggest you make your price fair guys! Keep it £12 make it bigger portion or make it more expensive but justify your prices guys as at the moment is out of order I believe. I support small businesses and I am all the way with them but I do not accept people...

If you’re looking for a truly unforgettable dining experience in Westbourne, Franco’s Yard is an absolute gem. This small but mighty spot is a perfect blend of intimate charm and culinary excellence. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by the warm, attentive staff who make you feel like part of the family. The atmosphere is cozy, yet lively, and you quickly realise why anyone who has visited raves about it.

I visited with my brother, and we were lucky enough to get a spot by the bar, which gave us the chance to chat with the chef and get an inside look at the magic happening in the kitchen. The staff’s knowledge and enthusiasm were contagious, and their attention to detail made every part of our meal feel special.

Now, let’s talk about the food - nothing short of spectacular. The lamb merguez was a standout, perfectly spiced, juicy, and grilled to perfection. The flavors were bold but balanced, and each bite was better than the last. My brother finished off with a Basque cheesecake that he loved and said it was phenomenal.

Everything about Franco’s Yard is designed for the food lover who appreciates quality ingredients, expert preparation, and genuine hospitality. This little treasure in Westbourne delivers a 10/10 experience across the board. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, you can’t go wrong here. It’s hands down the best place in the area, and I can’t recommend it enough! We will...

We've just had the most incredible breakfast experience at this gem of a spot ! hands down the best breakfast place in Bournemouth! Every dish was made with passion and heart, and you can truly taste it in every bite.

The presentation was absolutely stunning – each plate looked like a work of art. But the real standout? Our steak sandwich, it was exceptional. Perfectly cooked, tender steak, paired with fresh, flavorful ingredients that came together in a way that was simply sublime. The taste was out of this world..rich, savory, and perfectly balanced. A true culinary masterpiece.

The atmosphere was just as amazing. The staff were incredibly kind and full of positive energy, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. And a massive shout-out to the chef ! the work coming out of that kitchen is sensational. You can tell it’s done with real skill, creativity, and care.

If you're looking for a breakfast spot that consistently delivers outstanding food and vibes, this is it. I’ll definitely be coming back...

I had the best time at Francos Yard recently! The food was amazing, and the whole place just felt really vibrant and welcoming. A big shoutout to Adam, the chef, who is not only super talented but also an all-around great person. You can tell he puts his heart into every dish. Everything we tried was delicious! The staff was also really friendly. If you’re looking for a fantastic meal and a relaxed atmosphere definitely go to Francos Yard. You won’t be disappointed! Ps: Order a Cortado coffee, they are amazing!

Overall, fine, but didn’t match the great reviews it comes with, which was disappointing. We had the Isle of Wight tomatoes and the avocado with ricotta. The avocado was only one slice of toast piled with avocado and some ricotta, for £12, it felt extremely steep - though it was very tasty! Tomatoes were ok but lacked some seasoning, and poached eggs were overcooked. They also came out sequentially rather than together which was confusing. Had a black Americano which was pretty disappointing.
