Not very accessible. Wheelchair can get through the door, yes, but there is no accessible toilet. My friends booked in advance, informing that the party included a wheelchair user. Nobody warned us the toilet wasn't accessible, and we were told just a few hours before our arrival time that we had a choice of 2 tables - either a tall table or a standard height one at the back which would be down 2 steps. If I didn't have a specific and expensive wheelchair that can raise me to the height of the tall table, we wouldn't have been able to come at all. You would not get a standard wheelchair at that tall table, and offering a table that requires going down steps is not accessible in the slightest!

Please amend your restaurant details. I do not believe there would have been comfortable space anywhere for a wheelchair to sit or get around, and not having a toilet a wheelchair user can use means you are not an accessible venue for us to visit.

If you want to change this, please ensure you check the full specifications for an accessible toilet, and also have a wheelchair user come in to your venue and try to get around. Even better, you can hire a wheelchair for a day from a local mobility shop and have your staff or manager try to get around when it is empty. Then have some chairs out as if it is full, and see if it is actually spacious enough for a wheelchair user to safely and comfortably navigate to and from their table and the toilet.

I will say the food was good and the staff service was both friendly and kind, but the facilities just don't meet the minimum to be wheelchair accessible.

I won't be going back and don't recommend it for any disabled guests.

Additionally, the "mocktails" don't even have any 0% alcohol spirit alternatives, the "virgin pina colada" is literally paying £7.50 for a glass of pineapple and coconut juice. With so much effort into a range of alcoholic cocktails this is deeply disappointing. Strongly recommend adding some actual mocktails to the menu that are more than just fruit juice.

I will add, I didn't raise much of a complaint whilst in the venue because I didn't want to spoil the friend's birthday we were there for, especially when they had tried to ensure it would be accessible for me to come along and be with them in advance. It isn't their fault they were poorly informed by the venue...

what a Culinary Masterpiece

I had the pleasure of dining at the Lazy Fox last night, and I can't stop raving about the experience. From start to finish, it was an absolute culinary masterpiece.

The ambience was delightful; the warm, inviting decor set the perfect mood for an evening of gastronomic delight. The attentive staff made us feel right at home, and their knowledge of the menu and wine pairings was exceptional.

Now, onto the food! Every dish was a work of art. We started with the Teques, which was a burst of flavours and textures that left our taste buds tingling with delight. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite.

For the main course, I had the Massive, and it was nothing short of perfection. The presentation alone was stunning, and the taste surpassed all expectations. My dining wife opted for the after-party, and we couldn't resist swapping bites because everything was just so incredibly delicious.

Dessert was the grand finale, and it was the perfect ending to our meal. The biscoff cheesecake was a sweet symphony of flavours that left us both in awe.

In addition to the outstanding cuisine, the wine selection was impeccable, and our server's recommendations were spot on. It elevated our dining experience to a whole new level.

I can't say enough about the lazy fox. It's evident that the chefs and the entire team are passionate about their craft. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this is the place to be. I can't wait to return and savour more of their culinary delights.

Thank you, Lazy fox, for an exceptional evening that will be etched in my memory for a long time.

Big shout out to our Waiter Jon for exceptional service...

Updated review, note original review below in the in the interest of honesty. I responded to the owners request, my family and I revisited the Lazy Fox Burger Bar on a quiet Thursday afternoon. The whole experience was much improved, in particular my wife and son really enjoyed their whole meal....I have yet to find my favourite on the menu but have no complaints about the quality this time. To add, the owner spent personal time with us, explaining about her background etc. Her concern for us to be satisfied was obvious, wanting the business good reputation to be maintained, she certainly achieved this, excellent customer service and a complete turn around from my previous visit...thank you!! I can confirm we are now happy to recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit again..!🙂

(Regretfully I was not impressed...my burger was nothing special and the fries very poor... Definitely over priced for the quality of food, service at payment was exceptionally slow, 15 mins from request for the bill...with only 2 other tables in use. I would neither recommend or visit again, to be fair we came here because my wife and son had previously had a good experience..but this time even my wife agreed it was a poor experience..sorry, we do not like to leave negative reviews but I believe in being truthful, this was our experience...

We arrived more than an hour early for our reservation, and the waitress kindly let us order some drinks while we waited for our friends, who would be joining us later. The place was quite crowded, as you’d expect on a Saturday night, but as soon as a table became available, we were promptly seated, and our order was taken. The food took a bit to arrive, though given the crowd, that was understandable. The burger looked fantastic, but, to be honest, the taste didn’t quite match the presentation. It wasn’t bad, but there are definitely better options around town. The pulled pork on the chips was rather dry, though I still enjoyed it overall, as it’s a combination I quite like. They’ve got an interesting cocktail offer: if you order two of the same type, one of them is free. The skull-shaped cocktail( can’t quite remember the name)looked amazing, much like the burger, but the taste didn’t quite live up to the presentation — it was far too bitter for my liking. The gin cocktail, on the other hand, was really nice. Overall, it’s a pricey spot, likely due to the area it’s in, but if you’re after somewhere trendy to try, it might be worth a visit.
