Bobbed in here for just a drink initially, but the menu sounded so enticing that we ordered a few starters to have tapas style. Three of us shared Tzatziki, garlic mushrooms, deep fried halloumi, babaganus, & it came with a delicious warm flat bread, plenty of it. It also came with two other complimentary dips. Everything was exceptionally tasty. I've had most of these foods in Turkey, & they were equally as good. The bottle of rioja we shared was served at the correct temp. & was enjoyed. The place is stylish, very comfortable seating & spotless. The toilets are all accessible & spotlessly clean too. The service from a young woman called Caroline was perfect. She was warm, friendly & helpful. We would all highly recommend this restaurant. *Edit ~ returned the following day to enjoy drinks sat outside. Being directly opposite the Spa it is great for people watching/nosing! We again enjoyed some unplanned food & the spaghetti bolognese was exceptional! The welsh icecream is to die for, in proper sugar cones. This time we were served by a lovely gentleman who couldn't have been any better. We look forward to future trips when in the area. The south beach is also opposite, so a stroll after eating is a good idea due to those pesky calories! Big thanks to...
Read moreIt wasn't clear where to wait when we first walked in but we were then greeted warmly and shown to our table. Our waiter was very attentive throughout the evening. We were given some bread and dips while we waited, which was extremely tasty and a nice complimentary touch. Our starters (calamari) arrived quickly, were piping hot and cooked perfectly. Our mains (chicken stroganoff and the Geccho's Special) also arrived promptly and were bursting with flavour. It took a while to get the bill at the end but otherwise we were well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed the food. We are very lucky to have this superb restaurant at the end of our street and to have been found a table at short notice as they are extremely busy! We had a lovely evening and would highly...
Read moreThe food is fantastic. Starters were Garlic mushrooms, sucuk (spicy sausage), Scampi and Calamari which were the best I have eaten in this country...not the usual rubber bands in batter but beautifully soft and tender, fresh and tasty. Mains were steak for the men. Chicken a la cream, and Lamb Guvec for myself which was cubes of lamb cooked with veg and garlic topped with cheese. We finished with 2 x Irish coffee, 1 Baileys coffee and 1 Tia Maria coffee. We were all absolutely stuffed full and completely satisfied with everything we ate, the service received and the price. Our new number 1 restaurant in Bridlington. Cannot praise it enough. Thank you, this is what Bridlington has been waiting...
