Gillingham Cafe pie & Mash — Restaurant in England

Great cafe, lovely staff, very clean and food and drink is great at good prices. I have been going to this cafe for years (when it was Eel Pie) and it was good then but now it is really good. The new owners have updated the inside and the garden and the staff are lovely are even hold the door open for you if you need it. The staff have always been lovely at this cafe and their milky coffee is fantastic at a really good price it is no wonder that the cafe is busy especially late morning. I use to go with my mum (she passed away recently) BUT I will still keep going to this cafe as they are so welcoming and the food and drink is great at great prices (not inflated like some cafes) So if you want a great coffee (or any drink), good food and a place that is very clean where you can eat/drink either inside or outside in the garden (which part of the garden is under cover so you will not get wet even when it is raining) with lovely staff then definitely give this cafe a visit you won't be disappointed (it is a few doors down from the new Dental surgery and Burger King and a few doors up on the opposite side...

Very nice! I Haven't visited this cafe since a new owner took over and revamped the place and was not disappointed...I ordered a takeaway for collection, a jacket potato with loads of butter and prawns and they delivered, normally I ask for plenty of butter but get little. Lots of prawns and salad was lovely. Also ordered scrambled eggs, chips, burger and beans which also was well packaged, chips could have been done slightly more if picking but overall also very nice, I have now been into this cafe and had a full breakfast which was great..totally hit the spot and I've had their Sunday roast which is a great price of £6.50! very good if your on a budget guys....they have made over the garden area and wow! What a difference they have made...a lovley walled area with covered decking perfect for a quiet lunch or breakfast, definitely a regular...

I was in Kent for a week (trapped mostly inside working) and needed a quick and filling lunch.
