Gin & Scone — Restaurant in England

A group of six of us went yesterday and very disappointed at the outcome of a complaint of the lager that was served. I have to say the first round was very good then we decided to stay for a second and were told the Asahi had run out so waited well over 10 minutes for the last drink of six by which we had started the others and the lady came to say there was an issue with the gas for the Asahi so would we have a Moretti which we did due to the time waiting the others were nearly finished so when the Moretti came it was flat and dark in colour. It was taken back and after waiting 5 mins the lady appeared from out the back and I said not wanting to make a fuss but the pint was flat and not a good taste and due to the delay didn’t want it replaced as the others had finished asked for a refund. The lady looked at it and said there’s some bubbles !! and I said taste it as it’s not good and she said she didn’t like lager and started pouring another which I again tried to say we were leaving and refused me the refund. We left and won’t be returning again very poor customer service as they had 12 drinks from us best stick to coffee and cake. We booked a table here having never been before.Shocking service, no menus given, we had to go up and ask for them, while the blonde girl grabbed her mobile phone from under the counter and disappeared! Sat waiting for them to come and take our order but gave up and went to counter where the lady said oh no you have to come up and order. So I ordered the full breakfast but requested vegetarian, I wasn't told the vegetarian one would be tiny as they don't have everything in veggie options. 1 egg, 1 tomato, 2 of the smallest sausages I've ever seen, 1 hash brown and about a desert spoon of mushrooms and a slice of toast. £11.Okay if you don't have veggie bacon and black pudding then replace it with something else or at least inform the customer! Went for a birthday afternoon tea, they said they provided a vegan option and this is what i got, veg and a sandwich with just cucumber in. This is appalling, no vegan cake no other options just veg and half assed sandwich. The avocado was sat in lemon juice which was disgusting and inedible. If ur going to offer a vegan afternoon tea at least bother to make it good not just chuck veg on a plate. Afternoon tea for 6 people £90!!! Not worth it i wouldnt recommend and will never be coming back.
