The Myton is in a great area and is in a lovely spot. It has a beautiful beer garden, and it has the potential to be a great pub/restaurant. It has several issues that need addressing if it is to progress in this area. They include: • Outside the beer garden, smoke was everywhere at every table people smoked on. It it’s absolutely disgusting if you are going there with your children and trying to eat some food outside. Don’t bother at all; this is a serious issue and a severe health concern, if you don’t-smoke that is. • Tables are disgusting and very rarely tidied or cleaned • The food is awful. Check out my pictures. I ordered a beef burger (Ā£8.75) ā€˜HARD TO BEAT BURGERS’ and please see what was advertised and what I was expecting to sort of look somewhat alike! compared to what was delivered, I took it back for a refund, girl at the bar went out the back of the pub and then someone came out from the back, who I presume was the manager, as he never said who he was! Only for him to ask ā€˜have you returned the food! WHAT is wrong with it?’ in a very direct way.

This is the second year I have held a big Christmas lunch party at the Myton and they were absolutely amazing - I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The food was delicious, hot and the service Was excellent and great value compared to other local festive menus but by far the best. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and ensured every detail was carried out which made the day extra special. The venue also were kind enough to donate wine for the table as it was a charity event and gave us chocolates too - they really went above and beyond so thank you. A big shout out to Hollie, Luke, Beth, Caroline and all the Management team for being amazing 🤩

Looking like an EXCELLENT venue now for sports. Loved the addition of the pool table, dart boards and outdoor tv. We tried sharers and starters and all were good quality. Only small gripe was the tv volume( high ) whilst the cricket was on ( looked like nobody was watching it ). I have already recommended it to the lads and I can imagine it will be a hot spot for the footy going forward. Well done and congratulations

Unfortunately the Myton House Farm have decided to, bizarrely, cancel their Wednesday night music quiz. With a community of around 50 people each week turning up it seems like a very strange decision given that these people keep the pub ticking over by generating, I'd say, between £500-£1000 worth of revenue on a night where, even with the football on, there are very few people in. This cancellation it seems is as a result of an oversized screen being put right next to the dining area of the pub (where the quiz was run from) and said screen being given priority. This decision would be perhaps understandable if there was a big game on, for example a Major Tournament England game but even if there was I'm sure that people wouldn't want to dine in an area next to rowdy drunken football supporters. A very questionable decision which seems has been made in the absence of the regular general manager and there is a deafening silence from the pub in their justification. Real shame as the pub is generally very good, the staff are really pleasant and the refit looks smart. Compromise please before making rash decisions which I feel you will regret once the initial bounce of your refit is over. Review Edited to show the impact of your ridiculous decision with a photo from 10pm on Wednesday 25th June. The pub at this time would have had approximately 50 guests in this area at this time of...

On arrival they was nobody at the entrance to guide you to your seat you have to go to the bar and ask (if you havnt been before you wouldn't know). I said we have reserved a table who do I see about it the young lad said me what's your name then said its over there in the corner it's a large place and was very busy with drinkers. I had to ask if you order at the bar I was told yes . We ordered a drink first I asked can you put it on the table and pay when we order food I was told no so had to pay for our drink . I found our table after walking around looking. It had a reserve on in my name . The table was dirty drinks spilled on it only one chair so went looking for a chair. I had to go ask for someone to wash the table he then had to go find someone to come and clean it a young girl came over didn't smile just said can I clean your table. I said if someone put a reserve on why didn't they clean it first I never got a reply nor a apology she just walked away. The food was bland and average stay medium to well was black burnt. But it is cheap. First time I have been and my last . Staff walking about doing nothing clean your tables...

I visited this pub last night and had such a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and just the right blend of lively and laid-back.

I ordered the sirloin steak, and wow — it was cooked to absolute perfection. Juicy, tender, full of flavour, and paired beautifully with the sides. You can tell the kitchen knows exactly what they’re doing. Honestly, one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time.

But what really made the night special was the service, especially from Grace, our waitress. She was a total gem — friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely seemed to care that we were having a good time. She had great recommendations, a great sense of humour, and managed to strike that perfect balance of professional and personable. Grace went above and beyond, and it's rare to come across service like that these days.

The whole staff seemed on point, but Grace truly stood out. She's a credit to the place, and I hope the management knows how lucky they are to have her.

All in all, a brilliant night out. Great food, great service, and a really great vibe. Can’t...
