Grate - Toastie Bar — Restaurant in England

Found this place by chance whilst having my first ever wander around LOS. Tucked away in a little arcade it would be easy to miss, but I’m glad I found it. Who doesn’t like cheese toasties? Ordered a cheese and mushroom toastie and a side of coleslaw which was huge and obviously freshly made, and truffle fries. Everything tasted good. Got take out. The fries were so soggy by the time they got to me. The pesto toastie was the oiliest thing ever. Tasted way too salty too but I don’t like a lot of salt personally. You get a lot of food which somewhat justifies the price. The ‘cheese pull’ was great. But overall it was too soggy, salty and greasy for me. Delicious toasties at a reasonable price. We had: ham and cheese; goat’s cheese and caramelised onion; pastrami, sauerkraut, gherkin, cheddar and mustard; and pulled pork, gherkin, onion, bbq sauce and cheddar (without jalapeños).
