Green Chilli — Restaurant in England

Ordered for my Indian boyfriend and guests at home. Firstly, the order came in about 2 hours which is itself disappointing. The restaurant’s phone call was on voicemail anyways so that added on extra anxiousness.

They send multiple orders at once so don’t expect your order to be delivered in less than 2 hours.

The delivery guy from restaurant came in and handed over the wrong order. Yes after 2 hours, he managed to do that. Then when we complained, he said he will go and check other orders in his car to swap. He came back in 2 mins with correct order but it was so unprofessional overall.

Finally, we dished up the food and oh my god, the “murgh makhani” was basically sweet bland sauce with coconut and the chicken was uncooked. Easily the worst Indian food I’ve ever eaten. The popadams were okay. But at that point, who cares about that when the main itself is literally trash?

In my opinion, please don’t bother as we have learnt our lesson and won’t be ordering or...

If only I can review with 0 stars. Had to wait 10 minutes for the menu card after being seated. That's okay. Food was okayish. After dinner was waiting for a while to pay so when I went and asked if I can pay the waiters words were 'we are all engaged give us some cooling time' didn't say sorry or please. Don't mind waiting considering it was busy but the way he said was so disappointing. And eventually when the other guy bought the card machine he just showed the card machine to me and said 'contactless' didn't ask how I want to pay. And after I paid literally threw the receipt on the table. So disrespectful. Not going or ordering from there anymore. Food was over 2.5 hours late and was cold. Had to ring the restaurant on 3 occasions and each time was told it would be 20 minutes. Was eventually told that I wouldn’t be charged for it. However 3 days later and no refund. I rung the restaurant to suggest rather than refund me the £37 I’d try ordering a meal from there that totalled £22 instead. They initially agreed and then I get a call from the restaurant to say that they would only give me 50% off my order and they denied saying that they would offer a refund from the debacle on the weekend even though my girlfriend heard the same.

Very unhappy with the initial service and disgusted by their response inferring I was a liar!
