Avoid for takeaway, this is apparently the £20 mixed grill platter. Generally unpleasant experience all round, ordered on their preferred app for collection, arrived after it said ready for collection, they hadn’t received the order, the guy was a bit weird about even acknowledging the order was real, initially seemed to be questioning if it had even been paid for despite showing him the confirmation and collection code. He did then say he would make it, whereupon he proceeded to prioritise just about everything else while I waited, preparing and handing out other takeaway orders, scooping ice cream, changing beer barrels chatting with customers while pouring pints. A cursory apology after handing over the order 40mins after the collection ready email, no accompanying offer of anything to compensate the way, say, a local Indian takeaway would do. Got back to hotel room a full hour after leaving to collect to find tiny portions, as had been flagged in other reviews, and bits missing. Returned to ask for a refund given everything that had happened and greeted with a flat no way, you’ve left with the food and a really strange uncomfortable confrontation where the guy was asking me to stand to one side as “the till was where they serve customers”. To cap everything off, finally ate the now cold food and it was remarkably bland considering the other reviews left here - the kibbeh had no flavour to speak of, the lamb was really chewy, the chicken and naan was okay but not up to a good local kebab shop, the humous was at least passable. Overall i would recommend avoiding given how many better options there are in Wokingham, I can see what the other negative reviews were saying as our experience was very similar and can’t really make sense of other positive reviews unless the dine-in experience is wildly different.

Dined as a couple early evening mid week so it was quiet. However, this meant we had a lovely peaceful evening and plenty of attention from staff, who were very friendly. Food was delicious, lots of lovely flavours and plenty of it. We enjoyed a glass of red wine too. The complimentary baklava was a nice touch. Will definitely return. Update - made a return visit this evening. Pleased to say we had a similarly great experience; food was delicious, all really fresh. Great to have a change to the menu where the grilled meat can be served with bread as optional. Tried the halloumi this time and was very tasty. Would recommend this restaurant if you are a fan of Lebanese food.

We had a take away from Grilko. We thoroughly enjoy the experience. First time to order Lebanese food, but what a refreshing change from the normal go to take away. Our order is attached. If it is your first time ordering, the food being grilled is tender and delicious, but without a tahini sauce or other sauce of your choosing it is dry food. We ordered the chilli tahini, which unfortunately they forgot to give us, but we made a quick substitute at home. Definitely worth a try. I particularly liked the lamb kibbeh. Happy eating and thank you Grilko for a lovely experience.

Stumbling upon Grilko in Wokingham feels like uncovering a hidden treasure. It’s a modest, Turkish Mediterranean-inspired spot that’s quickly become a cherished part of our town. What really draws people in, myself included, is their Shish Tawouk (chicken shish) kebab - a simple dish done extraordinarily well.

What makes Grilko stand out isn’t just the deliciousness of their food, but the evident care and authenticity poured into every dish. The ingredients are fresh, and each bite of their Shish Tawouk offers a burst of authentic Mediterranean flavors that are hard to find elsewhere. It's tender, richly flavored, and, most importantly, made with love.

The atmosphere at Grilko is just as humble and inviting as its menu. It’s a place where anyone can come to enjoy a meal in a friendly, welcoming environment. The staff treat you with kindness and respect, making you feel at home with each visit. It's this combination of great food and warmth that has many of us coming back.

Grilko might not boast an extensive menu, but what they do, they do with perfection. Beyond the Shish Tawouk, they offer a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes, always focusing on quality over quantity. And if you’ve saved room for dessert, you’re in for a treat – the sweets continue the theme of simple, delightful flavors.

To anyone in Wokingham or visiting our town, I’d recommend stopping by Grilko. It’s a humble restaurant that doesn’t need to shout about its presence because the food speaks for itself. If you appreciate fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and a warm atmosphere, Grilko is a must-try. It’s a small place making a big impact on our local culinary scene, and I’m...

As a frequent visitor to this restaurant, I have had the privilege of experiencing its culinary delights on numerous occasions. As their dedicated photographer, I've had the opportunity to sample almost every dish on their menu, and I must say, the experience has been consistently exceptional.

I absolutely love the kibbeh, the halloumi and hummus, are nothing short of spectacular – each bite bursting with flavour and freshness.

The variety of wraps offered here is truly impressive, and I've had the pleasure of indulging in many of them. The quality of the meat combined with the sauces is always spot-on.

The platters offered here are incredible and represent incredible value for money, the meats are of super high quality, the flavours are wonderful and the portions very generous.

I also have to mention the exceptional hospitality of the owner and the staff. They are always super nice and incredibly friendly to customers, adding a warm and inviting touch to every visit.

Located in an ideal spot, this restaurant is easily accessible and boasts a welcoming atmosphere perfect for families and groups of all sizes. Whether you're looking for a leisurely breakfast, a quick lunch, or a delightful dinner experience, this place has...
