First time in Harrogate and googled the best Chinese, this came up and utter disappointment, we ordered two chicken chow main, two fried rice, one chicken fried rice, chips, chicken curry, chicken satay , and plain noodles. The rice had zero flavour, so just boiled rice which considering the price is a joke. Chips hard as nails, over cooked. The chow Mein was lacking flavour and chicken, I know we are going through a finical crisis but come on, simple ingredients, and tasted so bad. The worst is the most expensive the curry and satay well if u like watererd down sauces then theres ur place, it was oilily and again flavourless. Please and I really am saying this so you don't waste your well earned money, explore anouther Chinese because this one robs you and leaves...

While on a wee trip to Harrogate, fancied a Chinese. Looking at reviews on a few sites, this place stood out. Went along and first thing that struck us was how small it is, next was that the place was empty, however can't fault the food, arrived quickley and was very tasty...though it is very different to what we are used to. Food is served on a dish and you have a small plate and bowl, here we just get it all on big plate with rice separate, and far bigger portions (boiled rice included in price, unlike here) but guess that is a regional thing. Wine by the glass is very small 125ml again would get 250ml at our local for same price..Overall good food, just felt weird sitting getting watched eating ( only...

Well, the best thing were the staff, very friendly and attentive. Food: hot and sour soup was below average, sweet corn chicken soup was very good. Sweet and sour pork was excellent. Avoid the Thai curries, the green curry (chicken and vegetable) were terrible. Too sweet, no flavour at all. But then, Thai food in a Chinese restaurant... The prices were on the high side overall. Fired rice and noodles portions were quite small. Crispy won ton parcels were good. Chicken in spicy Szechuan sauce was definitely not up to mark. They really need to make an effort to make better food. Good...
