Without any exaggeration these guys are absolute coffee geeks, making Harris and Hoole by far "THE BEST" coffee on the UK High Street. Every time I visit my parents, I come here every day, usually in the morning. Their Lattes are smooth, velvety and have a slight nutty taste. This business, in all seriousness have set the bar so high as far as coffee goes that I can no longer drink the burnt tasting stuff that their competitors offer. Oh, and their sausage rolls are absolutely amazing (they have a hint of rosemary). I also love the Rocky Road and Portuguese Tarts too. Everything here is fantastic along with the customer service.

First impressions were not good being served coffee with a dirty unwashed spoon during the Coronavirus pandemic. Good to see hygiene is important to the Tesco family; I very much hope they washed my cup noting they weren't using disposable cups. Coffee was weak like dirty dishwater without much flavour. It appears this brand is all style over substance if they can't serve a decent coffee. I'm certainly not going back to a Harris + Hoole again in a hurry.

Oooh!!! Flat white options ... often merely more volume (milk & water) ... but very happily here they’re 2 - 3 or 4 😳 shot options —— very yummy!! The best porridge I’ve enjoyed on the high street too 👌🏼 But .... it’s the Ham & Cheddar Toastie that secured the solid 5🌟 rating ... the subtle hint of mustard elevating it to sublime deliciousness!

Before I begin I would first of all like to thank Ian and Abbie the owners of the Café for their kindness towards myself and the group I came in with. I came with my group of seventeen work colleagues on the thirteenth of May 2025. Upon arrival the Café we were warmly greeted by Ian and we were shown to our table reservation which was specially done for us which I and my group gratefully appreciated. The size of the café was perfect for the group I was traveling with. Some of us went up to the counter to collect cold food while some of us sat in our chairs for the hot food. I collected my food from the counter which wasn't that exciting but I didn't really mind as it had what I was looking for on that day. Overall I would recommend this place with the only thing being the menu size being a little small but it isn't too small to...

This H and H is an enigma. I like it but then I don't. It's kid and pet friendly. It has a good selection of beverages and sustenance. And it's large with a rear section that is a nice spot for a small gathering without disturbing the rest. However, there are more and more home workers who are taking up residence. I'm one of them and now know how annoying we are. One drink in three hours, annoying phone habits, looking important whilst sending a PC WhatsApp message to your mom that you are so looking forward to coming home for the weekend, etc, etc. And at times it's not great to smell a pooch that took a dip in the River Chess...so, I like it but...

One real positive, IMnotsoHO the staff are efficient and friendly, unlike the Costa down the road...take...

Lovely place, great coffee and kid and dog friendly including free babycinnos! Food selection not so great for vegetarians apart from cakes. The baristas are all very friendly and sweet, however usually seem understaffed and rushed off their feet. The opening times are a bit confusing and prone to changing - when asked, the staff seemed as confused and frustrated as the customers and very apologetic. As well as this they had run out of quite a few things when we visited, again the staff were very apologetic but it did spoil the visit a little having to order second choice options. I can only assume it is down to poor management...
