Nice place, unfortunately the owner deserves to fail for his appauling attitude and customer service. Went in with my wife twice. The first time asked for a taste of a keg, was told "we don't do tasters of keg, only cask". I have never encountered this anywhere and laughed as I thought he was joking (he was the other side of the bar drinking at the time). Apparently he wasn't! Feeling sorry for the barmaid I ordered us a half each and stayed. Went in again another day, got a taste of cask, ordered a half of that and half Aspalls for my wife, was told sternly "you ask for a taste then order a half?
