*update* Visited again recently and wanted to leave some comments, firstly wr came in the summer as I'd been looking locally for a nice moijito, I had a few here and they were delicious! When we recently came for a meal I had one and it was awful, like flat, and watery and tasted terrible. Must have been out a carton? Something has definatley changed since the summer. That aside, meal was really nice and have to say my steak was cooked to absolute perfection for me which was pleasing. Sadly the lady behind the bar was rude reguarding my drink and at first refused ro tale our food order even though I had booked a table in advance so I had to ask for a manager, this was quickly solved though and we did enjoy our meal. New pics added. we really like the harvester, they do a fab breakfast for less than a fiver or you can go for the 8 quid one and have unlimited...literally as much of anything as you like! it is so so worth it. also having gione in the evening we've enjoyed the food also, you also get to help yourself to free salad cart too. also unlimited. staff are always welcoming and helpful too and the place is good value for a family meal out

When we arrived, we had to wait a bit. Then, we were greeted with a smile at the reception. You enter your car registration for free parking. The same lady was also our server. She took our drink order first. We were told where to get our refillable drinks. Before you get your salad bowls, you have to place your main order. The salad selection was generously full. I did ask a young kitchen girl to fill up one of the items, which she kindly did. The place overall looked tired and needed a good clean, or something about it was missing. Plus, they were understaffed, as some tables were not tidied up right away. Our 8oz rump steak looked great but was overcooked unfortunately as I asked for medium. The mushroom was deep-fried and burnt. Not good. The best part was the fried chips and onion rings and not to forget the buffet salad which I always enjoyed about Harvester. The waitress was super chatty and friendly when asked to pay for our bill in the end.

Amazing food, with friendly service, and a warm atmosphere inside the restaurant! 🌟 The staff are polite and friendly, and service is good, with food and drink orders being taken quickly and food and drinks being delivered to the table in good time too. There's (of course) unlimited use of the salad cart with every main meal, and that itself has a wide selection of items to choose from. The restaurant is clean and tidy, and well laid out with spacious walkways to navigate. The food is fresh and hot, being very tasty and filling as the portion sizes are of good standard. Prices are reasonable for a chain restaurant, with the bill coming in at a modest £40 for two adults, although it has to be said there don't appear to be many dining deals on, unlike other, similar restaurants. But, overall, a positive experience, and we would return and recommend this branch of Harvester.

We've eaten at this location before but never experienced such poor customer service as we did today. To start with we were led to a table that involved walking up 3 steps, despite it being very clearly obvious I was using a crutch. My partner ordered the mixed grill, and I chose the salmon. I opted for a jacket potato and no sauce, rather than mash, as I have a lactose intolerance. We got our food and the jacket potato clearly had butter added to it. The steak on my partner's meal was tough and full of gristle. The egg was overcooked and rubbery and the peas were clearly not fresh. The green beans on my dish were also mushy and inedible. We pointed out the issues with the steak, peas and egg and our server did take it away and brought out a replacement that was much better. To his credit he did come back shortly afterwards and offered us a free desert by way of apology. We don't eat deserts, however, due to my lactose issue and my partner's diabetes. I am a blue light card holder and mentioned this when the bill came - no issue and a new bill was produced. It wasn't until we got home that we noticed the deduction applied to the bill wasn't as much as it should have been. The Blue Light discount is 20% however our £59.96 bill was only reduced by £8.50, which is roughly 14%. The general cleanliness of the restaurant was also poor - some staff had body odour issues and one of the chef's "whites" (ie their jacket) was very dirty. Overall not a...

I didn’t really want to write this review- but i needed to be fair as I’ve written really positive reviews before (and hopefully this was a one off). We had made a reservation for 7.30 on Monday 27/1 and were seated promptly by Liv- who let us know there were a couple of items not available on the menu- so we selected our meals bearing these ingredients in mind. After placing our order and a wait of approx 30 minutes, we were told that rotisserie chicken (a key element on both our dishes) was unavailable, so a snap decision was needed to make a substitution. Eventually our food came, along with a side order of surprise and disappointment, as my mixed grill chips were cold, the steak was cooked incorrectly, but was edible - which is more than can be said for his undercooked sausages and fried egg which was very overcooked and lurked menacingly on the edge of the plate. My wife’s steak was overcooked and inedible and although liv offered to get it recooked she was feeling pretty defeated by then and declined. As regular customers we know this is not usual and the kitchen was really missing James and Wicks that evening- maybe we’ve just been spoilt to generally have one or the other! Stock issues aside, if it had been our first visit it probably would have also been our last, although front of house Rhian, Liv and Callum were (as...

We booked and arrived at 7.30pm. We ordered our meals. The salad bar was messy with food everywhere. We had to ask the staff to refill most of the trays and bread rolls. There were no staff checking and cleaning the salad bar.We did enjoy our salad. Our meals arrived and all the food was Luke warm and the tartlet was burnt. We were told there was no jacket potato's left to go with the replacement tartlet dinner. We were told because it was a sat night and this was the reason for the busyness and running out of food. What a feeble excuse. No establishment should ever use an excuse of a poor experience due to it being busy. I would never use this excuse working in the care sector, how they felt this was a reasonable reason is beyond me.We were offered a full replacement of our order but it was now 8.20pm. we could not wait for another dinner to be cooked. The 2 children ate their meal as they were so hungry. We only ate 1/4 of the meal due to it not being hot enough. We did complain and received 20% discount. This is the worst harvester we have been to. Even the chef and kitchen staff looked disgusting behind their counter.Their white uniform was so dirty. They could at least change their aprons regularly. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very poor and unclean. We visited frimley the other weekend and it was a...
