Market Inn Bracknell — Restaurant in England

Been here several times mainly at the weekend and really enjoyed myself as did my friends. The food is good and so is the music.

At the weekends it is busy and the DJ is really good he had everyone dancing all night and he even played the song I asked for. Friday and Saturday nights seem to be the busiest and it becomes more like a club than a pub. I've only eaten here after work in the week and it was much quieter which was lovely.

The bar staff are friendly and considering how busy it was the last time I was there (Saturday night) they were pretty quick at serving me and my friends.

I would recommend this place for a fun night out dancing at the weekend but also for somewhere to get a nice quiet meal during the week.

Only negative I have is I'm not keen on football which was on all the TV's but they were playing music in the section we were sat in so didn't...

Waited 10 mins for staff to confirm a table despite several of them hanging at the bar and several tables empty so wasn't busy at all. Nobody came to take the order until 15 mins after. Ordered only 2 drinks which didn't come until 20 more mins at which point we just left. Walked 5 mins into town center and was seated, sipping a drink at the Bull within 5 mins. Such a shame for Market Inn to have utterly poor customer service despite the good location.

Note to customers: steer clear unless you're prepared to wait pointlessly

Note to whoever responds to this from the pub: no point in asking to contact the manager for addressing the problem by offering free meals or drinks - get it right the first time. There's several pubs around that will happily take in your customers while staff listen to loud music and do...

Went in ordered a drink and paid by card. Bartender drops card machine after and claims payment wouldn't have gone through so would have to pay again. I tell him it's already come through on the bank app on my phone so it's all ok. He then tried to say I would get a refund for this payment but would have to pay again now. Know a bit how payment machine and banking apps work so told him didn't seem right so I would wait at bar until refund then would pay again. He then got funny and snatched drink back. I started then to get angry and demanded to speak to landlord. He came over and again tried to claim I would get a refund but not till later. At that point I decided to cut my losses and walk out. Two days later no refund but at least I wasn't conned into paying twice...
