Love this pub and rapidly becoming our local favourite, fantastic vibe, cosy, xmas decs up, good music on in the backgroud and most importantly a great selection of beers. We were guided to a nice session ale called "Pint" by Ryan. Great choice for a Sunday afternoon with the missus.

Decent selection of beers in cans and bottles and a nice vibe. First time visiting but hopefully won't be the last. Only dropped one star as there were no new beers on tap for me to try, hopefully I will be more lucky next time.

Had an excellent Saturday night in here last weekend, really friendly staff and the atmosphere was bang on. Recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time out with friends.

I give this place 5 stars for the drinks, decor and staff but have to give it 1 star for the food. I read so many positives about this place. We made the trip out especially to dine here. The food was a total let down but I put the blame solely at the chefs feet rather than the management. Personally, I wouldn't hire the guy to wash my pots. Everything was over cooked or burnt and totally lacked flavour. This is obviously someone who doesn't care about the food he serves and should seriously consider his career choice.

The place itself was fantastic, spotless and the staff and management couldn't do enough for us. I can't wait to go back for some drinks on my next visit as they have a great selection of craft beers and are obviously passionate about what they do. If they can sort their food out then they could easily be the place to go as they were the best craft beer pub I visited out of the many I visited...

Fantastic pub with great atmosphere!

Lots of different choices with a good variation between Cameron’s and non-Cameron’s products on draft. Staff are very knowledgable and friendly when asked about drinks, and are more than happy to offer their own recommendations! Good choice of spirits as well for non-beer drinkers, especially the gin! Also love all the different cans they have on offer. Prices are very similar to the rest of Norton, but by far has the best vibe!

Being dog friendly is brilliant, and their special dog events have a great atmosphere, including treats for both dogs and humans! Overall fantastic pub, would recommend 100% if you’re in...

After arriving in Norton too early for the restaurant we decided to have a little explore. The first pub we found made us feel like we weren’t welcome and the atmosphere was stale. I told my friends to try the Head of Steam as I’d been to one in Newcastle. This pub is amazing straight away we felt at home, they allow dogs and have a wonderful atmosphere! We just learned about Thursday Quiz nights and have already planned for a future night out. Can your local be a pub a town away from home? 100% recommend :) (They don’t serve food but allow you to bring food in) Great heated yard for those of...
