Hello Burger — Restaurant in England

I heard about this hello burger opening in Bridge Street & everyone was talking about how great they are.

So i decided to order a takeout for delivery, a vegetable deluxe buger meal, fries & diet coke / strawberry milkshake.

It took about 50 mins to reach me ( tis a Saturday night )

I didn't have any expectations, but i thought through others' reviews. It may be alright.

Let me delve into my vegetable deluxe burger. It looked really nice in its tinfoil wrapper. But as soon as i took a few bites, i was immediately put off by the grease oil that was dripping from it. For £6.95 , i expect this from a burger van or a cheap kebab place. Not a new opened burger place raving they sell the best burgers.

I couldn't eat any more of my vegetable deluxe burger. Even wiping the burger, more grease came off. I just had to throw it away & the vile taste of grease upon grease you couldn't taste the vegetable burger itself.

I've had veggie burgers at others burger places and never had this problem. It's left a sour taste in my mouth.

As for the fries, lukewarm, crammed together, nout special.

The only good thing was the strawberry milkshake.

I dont think i will be ordering from here again £18 wasted on a meal i couldn't eat. It's not worth the hype.

Please do better, or make sure your veggie burgers come out with quality control & not leaving dripping & tasting of oil / grease fat.

First time ordering tonight, spoke with a nice guy over the phone before ordering who was very kind and assured me I will enjoy the food and that if I didn't I would get my money back and wow he was right! All the food is fresh and they don't use processed and nasty ingredients, after taking my first bite into my double chicken burger, the freshness of the chicken, bun, sauce and lettuce all together hit me straight away, as someone who has tried lots of burger joints/restaurants in the town (Yumas, Burger Boi, 7Bones, Smoke Pit to name a few) I can for sure say I can tell the difference in Hello Burger with the ingredients used, I can't say yet how the beef burgers are but I can imagine they are just as good as the chicken burgers, when I next have a beef burger I will be ordering from here again that's for sure, I would put this place perhaps on the same level as Five Guys or maybe just a tiny bit below it, again that is only based on the chicken burger, will have to see next time for how the beef burger tastes from here, for other people who want to order from this restaurant I would advise to order directly with the restaurant over the phone, you will get it much cheaper and avoid those expensive service fees and delivery fees from Uber Eats, Deliveroo and JustEat, they accept card too...
