Fireaway pizza Northampton — Restaurant in Great Britain

Incredibly poor attention to detail. I know the Fireaway brand extremely well and happen to be close friends with the owners of other franchised Fireaway restaurants, including the owner of Fireaway Wellingborough. So I have a good understanding of Fireaway's brand standards of pizza quality, ingredient levels, freshness and temperatures. Having eaten at six Fireaways across the UK, I will never order from my own local restaurant again, four visits later. I always like to order Hot Honey as an extra topping but there wasn't enough applied to my previous three visits (versus the amount other restaurants add), so I made a point of calling them to pre advise. The lady I spoke with assured me that she had added "more" hot honey (ie the usual amount added at other Fireaways) and I could barely taste it, yet again, when the pizza arrived. The pizza was also lukewarm in temperature and soggy, no crisp. This goes against Fireaway's brand standards by far When I called the restaurant, the lack of service recovery was appalling. No ownership at all and she actually shouted at ME for complaining, threatening to report me to the manager for causing trouble. In short, Fireaway Northampton completely let down all other hardworking Fireaway franchisees across the UK who do the right thing with product consistency. I encourage all other pizza lovers in Northampton to pay the extra delivery fee and order from Wellingborough or Milton Keynes instead. This is a poor example of. Ordered a pizza for 1pm as its my lunch time phone before to ask will it come on time advised it would. I phoned at 1pm to check delivery status was advised he is making it now. I explained only have 30 mins lunch break. I was then lied to told driver had left another 20 mins no sign. I on the notes and phone told them tell the driver to call before he leaves as its business. The driver called and no idea where he was 20 mins later he arrives cold pizza sent back. The level of service is shocking now have to go back to desk with no lunch. If you could can not stick to time inform me. disgraceful service shock please do not use for delivery.
