I lost my jacket in your pub on Friday Night. I put my jacket on a Sofa and after some time it got lost. My 7 friends and I tried to search for it all around but unfortunately could not find it. I made a complaint to your manager at the same time. He checked in 'lost and found' department but could not find it. He suggested calling in the morning to check again and I did call you. Your staff checked and said it is not here and we can not help you anymore. I requested to check the security camera and they refused. I visited your pub on Saturday evening and asked to check it again. Your staff said 'I can't waste my time' to check again as we already checked in the morning. He also said 'don't call us again as your jacket is not here'. I again requested to check the security camera but he said 'as your item has been lost on public property, you need to make the police complain and then we can check the security camera'. I am requesting you to check the security camera as according to the police department website, 'the Pub is private property' and I need to check with the property owner'. I am again requesting your help to find my valuable jacket as I thought that the pub was secure. This place treated my friend ridiculously tonight, would not recommend, despite the chocolate brownie being really nice 😭

Having met with a group of friends tonight for Halloween, all having travelled 1-2 hours from different parts of the country, we have been left pretty angry that they've denied entry to one of our group... for wearing JOGGERS?! 🤡

I have never experienced some sort of dress code in a Greene King. I understand if it's some fancy restaurant but not a bog standard pub like this considering its half empty anyway? Not really in a position to turn away customers 💀

I can understand if they want to keep troublesome people out of the pub but to judge somebody on their clothing when they've done absolutely nothing wrong apart from show up at the door is ridiculous, especially when the rest of our group are dressed "appropriately". If you want to kick somebody out when they've displayed poor behaviour once inside the pub however, fair enough.

Ironically, two of our group who have been allowed in the pub have 2 layers of trousers on. The bottom layer? Joggers. Low and behold they're not causing a problem so honestly this rule is a joke.

The Old Bank Northampton is a pub that really meets expectations, this review is about all the staff and how well i think they are in my opinion as i notice that they are all very close with each other, there are new staff that i did not recognise but they are so lovely and still get on with the regular staff. Johnny is a funny lad to talk to he always brings a smile on customers faces, there is one woman that i do not know the name of but she is a really lovely woman, she also likes to joke around with customers i believe i heard another bar staff call her Beckie, Emma is one of the quiet bar staff but she still is a lovely woman to talk to, I believe one of the new staffs name is Callum, he is a little like Johnny he is funny to talk to and he seems to care about the customers when serving them, Maisey (i think her name is) is a lovely girl who is sweet to everyone, Chloe is a lovely girl and she helped another customer out along with Callum when they were asked if they know where any other clubs are.

If you want a good night out with great customer service then The Old Bank Northampton is 100% the place to go, the food is great, the staff are great, and the pub is very clean, i have noticed that the staff make sure that tables are wiped...
