I ordered a takeaway and was bitterly disappointed with the quality of the food. I have been eating from the Imran for 20 years and only twice in that time was there a problem with the food and the staff were really helpful. The chicken tikka biryani left a lot to be desired. Bland in taste and the chicken tasted off. Upon phoning them, l found the manager/owner unhelpful and non apologetic for serving bad food. Whilst offering a refund instead of offering a replacement, l was shocked and disappointed, this however would have required another 10 mile journey which l refused to do.Very blunt and abrupt. The quality of the food has diminished over the last couple of years. l will be avoiding this place like the plague and urge others to do so. There are better restaurants in Northampton which offer great quality of food.and good service. They are not that cheap in price but...
Read moreI have unfortunately taken of 4 stars for this review as upon eating here again, I was charged £6.10 for 4 paperdoms and chutneys. What I find distasteful about this is the way it was done. We were asked if we'd like paperdoms, nothing about extra charges for the chutneys that come with it.
The chutney pricing on the menu is also all the way at the back on the last page, unsurprising.
The food is delicious and portion sizes generous, but this experience has left me a bit salty if I am honest, so I am sorry for removing my 5 stars...
Read moreWould leave 0 if it was possible. Used to be a massive fan of Imran but not any longer. Ordered today and an hour later my order was still not cooked. When I spoke to reception, I was promised that order will be leaving in 10 min (I live 5 mins away), another 50 min later order still didn’t arrive and reception doesn’t pick up any longer. What a disappointment and really poor customer service. Shame on you Imran, won't be back and will share my experience with friends and family to make sure nobody else has...
