Indian Palace Bridlington — Restaurant in England

Had a birthday do here on Saturday. After the meal my friends and wife brought out a birthday cake, as a surprise, with a sugarcraft icied figure of Henry VIII on top. I collect tudor things so I indended to keep the figure in a glass or perspex box once it was home and I had acquired one. We were going on to other places after the meal and the staff said they would keep the cake so we could collect it the next day. My wife visited the next day and parts of the figure had been eaten!!! A arm and a shoulder were missing. The staff just started talking in Indian and waved their hand about when my wife confronted them angrily. This was all after we were accused when paying on Saturday night that the bill was £38 short, on insistence that the bill was rechecked they found that they had forgotten to account for someone who had already paid. Won't darken their doorstop again and OK its a cake but it was our cake not...

This is my favourite place to eat! I have been a regular at the Indian Palace for a few years now and have never been disappointed with the food. The waiters always greet me with a smile and a friendly hello. There is a nice friendly atmosphere and I am always made welcome. The head chef knows exactly how spicy I like my food so he does all he can to accommodate my taste. If there is something I want ands is not on the menu, then they will do their best to make what I want. I would definitely give 5 stars for quality of food. 5 stars for price. Without hesitation, 5 stars for friendliness.

Friday 23 Feb 24 We decided to order a takeaway from the Recently Opened Delivery was quick and arrived hot. I ordered Special Dish Himalayan Chicken (served with vegetables and Pilau Rice) The Chicken was sliced precooked and dry with a tough texture. The so called Himalayan Chicken was swimming in grease as was the accompanying veg a Bombay Style Potato. The Pilau Rice was fine however the Plain Nan was very rubbery in texture.
