Highly recommended for quality food, excellent service and a really pleasant all round experience!

We have visited here a few times now, normally as a pre-theatre dinner, and every time we are impressed with the quality food and customer service received. The restaurant is located directly opposite the main entrance to Theatre Severn, and a very short walk from the Frankwell carpark, so access is very easy.

On all the times we have visited, we have booked through the web site. We have always received a response within a couple of hours to confirm booking.

The food is delicious and the variety is really good. Plenty of vegetarian options too.

The set meals are also excellent value. On our last visit there was a pre-theatre option for £49.95, which included a shared starter plate, shared mixed grill plate for main and a bottle of wine.

A few years ago I had an excellent meal at this restaurant, so being back in Shrewsbury I booked for a party of 4 but this was not at all the same experience.

Firstly I wasn’t over the moon, to arrive on time and be made to wait for quite a long time for our table to be cleared and set, we had to lure near other dinners and it wasn’t a good start.

The spinach and cheese borek looked like a spring roll and tasted like it was filled with boursin cheese and had absolutely no similarity to any borek I had ever tasted before, the salad was sloppy, very overestimate dressed and dripping wet, I’m still confused by the bread, it wasn’t pita, more like hard focaccia, the dips were definitely store bought as was the falafel, the mains were okay but not great I left the majority of mine, the wine was pretty poor and the service just okay.

My wife and I have been there more than 20 times in the last 2 years. But unfortunately they lost 2 customers now. We were there the other day, we order some food and some half pints. When we received the bill, we were surpised about the price of the half pints: 4.99 pounds each. We thought that it was a mistake, we did ask to the woman working in the place. Her answer was completely unprofesional and very anoying: "I don´t put the prices". We did ask how much is the pint, she said 5.9 pounds. So half is 4.9 and full pint 5.9. We told the woman that it doesnt make any sense and she said: "These are the prices". We were very dissapointed not just because the nonsense abussive price for the half pint, also because the poor service.
