This was my first time eating at an Itsu, my girlfriend and I shared some sushi and a couple of side dishes. All in all the meal cost just over £30, including drinks and some mochi.
Veggie options were great, and the prices seemed pretty reasonable. We spent no more than we would have at any other chain restaurant and even ended up taking some food home.
I don't eat a lot of sushi so I can't say what the quality was like, but I really enjoyed it and don't have food poisoning so no complaints here.
The ordering process was more like a fast food restaurant than anything else, you order on a screen and then the staff 'assemble' your meal from packaged dishes that the chefs have already made. It was great to have our food ready immediately but the amount of plastic packaging seems a bit excessive.
It's a shame that the restaurant has no customer toilets, but the nearest one in the Mall was fairly close. From what I saw, the restaurant was very clean.

Read moreI never ever leave a bad review, but today I have to. The service I received today was completely unprofessional. I noticed that Itsu was recently opened at Cribbs Causeway, so today I popped in to grab some sushi rolls around 6:20pm. So I asked him how can I check what can I get, he just said - from the screen and carried on dusting. The sales person didn’t try to help or serve me at all, so I just left. It was very quiet there and only two customers were sitting who saw what happened. Please could you provide the relevant training to that person? For such a quiet evening it’s not acceptable to provide this type of service which resulted...
Read more3rd world place!! Avoid. Having been there multiple times with the family today will be the last one. Today at 19:30 we went there to purchase at 50%. We were first and when the employee gave us the thumbs up we entered to pick up some trays, and the people in the queue started to jump it and actually FIGHT for food. They also stolen food! I’ve never witnessed such a lack of education and consideration other than in very poor 3rd world countries.
The worst is that people do so because the staff allow them to do so. They didn’t say a thing and proceeded to charge as usual. They are necessary collaborators in such a savage behaviour. It’s a common thing apparently for what I heard from other customers.
Is that what you want when you buy food in the United...
