Tortilla Bristol (Cribbs Causeway) — Restaurant in England

Good food, tasty and not greasy.

Service appalling. The two people serving could barely hear us over the perspex cover and background noise, and when they spoke or should I say whispered, we were left guessing what the options were. This resulted in my youngest getting upset that they weren't given lettuce, after asking for it quite clearly, twice. I wasn't convinced we were being given the staff's full attention.

The final member of staff, a female, on the till asked 'is that all' and then turned away to talk to a colleague instead of waiting for a response from us. There was no smile. It was more as though she was annoyed with having to serve us.

I asked if it was possible to swap the flavour of canned drink, as my husband chose one I wouldn't like (he didn't realise it was soda instead of lemonade). I was met with a 'I can't work this till, whatever just take it' with a rather angry tone of voice.

After this we didn't feel comfortable making another request for more napkins or clean cutlery after my daughter dropped her fork on the floor.

I understand staff are people, and everyone has a bad day once in a while or become upset by things. However we felt more like a burden than a customer.

We are regular visitors to The Cribbs Mall, but we won't be visiting the Tortilla restaurant any time soon due to the poor customer service. Which is a shame as we...

I simply have no words for what happened to me at cribbs causeway burrito shop in Bristol. There was no problem with the service, everything was fine, the staff were very kind and served me kindly. I would like to note that I am vegan and I asked for the burrito bowl and one burrito with vegan toppings and also ordered 2 portions vegan churros. Because I really like burrito and I go to this store a lot, so I know roughly how much what I ordered costs and how much I will pay. I asked the lady who worked to give me the bill so that I could see why I was paying so much. Then she confusedly said, "Excuse me, but there were two nachos and chorizo topping on the bill, but so I'm vegan",they refunded the money to the card, but which I haven't received so far and they still haven't given me an bill. When I asked her to give me the invoice for the third time, she pressed an invoice for an £1 refund into my hand( chorizo ). After asking for the fourth time, they finally gave me the original invoice, I did a photo of. You can clearly see what is on the invoice. I think it's outrageous And I'm sure they put more money in the account on purpose, they thought I wouldn't notice anyway, if they stole 20 people a day( but I think more than 20) that is a nice pocket money by end of the day. Food is tasty but the service is very questionable. Only in the tortilla at The Mall. Me and a few friends came to get food before the cinema at 5pm.

I ordered first, getting a burrito rice bowl and quesadillas for takeaway. I just wanted to clarify its a weekday evening and it wasnt busy and there were 2 staff - which is fine and expected because its not busy. So i ordered first out of my friends and the guy said itll take a while for the quesadillas so I can sit down and theyll bring it over. Both my friends are served so they came down to sit with me and then they served some other customers....It got to a point where were thinking....Quesadillas DO NOT take this long.

I'm watching them doing nothing so I go up to the woman and ask her where is my quesadilla? and I see my quesadilla left on the side, out of the grill and getting cold.
