Food didn't arrive (had to cancel the order eventually). I place an order at 8:30 and after 1 hour the food hadn't arrived. I contacted the restaurant and was informed that the delivery man has left with my food and it will be with me in another 15 mins. After another 40 mins (22:10), I called to cancel my order and the person I spoke with became very rude, angry and aggressive towards me because I wanted to cancel my order. He was shouting on the phone and became very aggressive (almost threatening) and told me that I will be banned to order food in the future (trust me I won't be ordering anyways, so save your time in writing your banning orders. I will rather give me custom to someone who doesn't treat their customers with aggression). I was truly shocked and appalled by the tone and the aggressive nature of the person I spoke with and hence I recorded the conversation. I have been ordering from Jack Spice for a long time and never had an issue. I am amazed to think that such rude people can work in/own a customer service business. This chap clearly didn't know the meaning of the word customer service. I don't really want to share the audio clip with anyone but at the same time, reflecting on the way I was spoken to, I am seriously considering it. I will definitely be sharing my appalling experience with all my friends and family and sincerely hope they don't give any of their customs to this...

1 star is to many. We have now ordered twice from here and both times have been awful.

The 1st time we ordered off of just eat and this was at 7.15 and it said estimated arrival 8.35. We understood this as it is lockdown and a Saturday night. It then gets to 8.55 and I call and they said it was still on the grill and would be there is 20 mins. At 9.20 it still hadn't arrived so called again and they said it was just leaving. I was not angry as it is a lockdown and Saturday but tried to say of there was a way maybe lengthen the time on the time for delivery as it is very miss leading. They didn't even apologise and pretended to just say its leaving. The food arrived at 9.40 so 2 hours and 25 mins but with lockdown you know places are busy.

We again order tonight and we'll same issue. Over 2 hours wait but when the food arrived the chicken was pink!! It wasn't even cooked so this is when I called and a young girl answered and I was passed onto someone else. He did not day sorry just that he wanted the chicken back so he could see it, which I said we would. He said it would be half an hour and put the phone down. Not even asking if we wanted a refund. He said would be half an hour and 45 minutes later it arrived and was not very nice.

I understand they must be busy but the service is awful and after tonight we will not be...
