Never left a review before but this was probably the worst breakfast I've had for the price it's charging and this is me giving it a second chance after ordering Turkish eggs months ago which was literally eggs, bread, salad and a dollop of plain yoghurt. Added eggs and avocado which brought it to about £13. There was a decent wait time but didn't mind as was quite busy but the table still had food on it from the last guests and was never wiped. The poached eggs were the worst I've ever seen in a food establishment I don't know why you put them on the menu when the chef clearly can't make them. It's the only place I've been to where you have to ask for butter when the toast arrives. I asked for 2 fried eggs instead which took a further 10 minutes. They forgot the hash browns as well and a further 10 minutes after the eggs they only brought 1 hash brown when it was missing off mine and my gfs plate so had to wait again. The avocado smash with "chilli oil" mixed in was actually sweet chilli sauce i'm assuming to save on costs. Half wilted rocket instead of watercress, tomato was only cooked on one side for some reason and a handful of the cheap little white mushrooms which were tiny and a dry as a bone. The only nice part was the tea and coffee. The bread may have been Sourdough but certainly a cheap version. Paid £31 for 2 breakfasts, latte, black tea and added eggs and avocado but feel well and truly mugged off. Advertising and charging a premium product but poorly delivering something you would expect in weatherspoons. Based off the 5* reviews it's good for coffee and cakes but the food menu is an...

I've been here about 10 times, said I'd never go again because the service and food wasn't good at all, even after a formal complaint nothing changed, but it's very convenient and the wheelchair access is perfect. We were going to Costa today but it was too busy ( half term) so decided to try again. Firstly all the staff have changed and the service was 100% better. Although it was busy everything was running smoothly. Secondly the prices and menu have changed, both for the better. The issue I still have is that they don't have what I want to eat. Quite a lot of the menu unavailable as they're waiting for a food delivery. Worst of all no pancakes. The pancakes are so good, but most of the time they're not available. I think that it's because they are time consuming they just regularly say 'no pancakes' I'd say 7 of the 10 visits I've made it's the same. Please sort this out and we'll be regular visitors again UPDATE 30.10 Visited today, got the pancakes, they were half the size they used to be and no blueberries, due to menu change and were just OK, nothing special. Finished eating and no coffees so I politely enquired ' hi could you check on our coffees please?' Well what a reply, I thought I'd been transported to Karen's Diner.

'She have only 2 hands' shouted the Manager ( I presume manager) whilst angrily gesticulating to the poor girl making the hot drinks. We were about to leave when the drinks came, which we drank in...

Have been here a couple of times now and as much as I want to like it, my experiences have never been positive. After convincing friends to give it a second chance, I’ve ended up embarrassed because of how bad it is.

The food in the counter looks great, but there are no prices shown so you have to ask. The cakes and drinks were nice, but the food and drink is too expensive for what it is. Even compared to competitors like Starbucks.

The staff vary, but have always been very young and inexperienced, with very little customer service skills or any sort of manager to lead by example. Even if the restaurant is new in town, they need better management and training, as others have mentioned. There have been errors when I have been, and I’ve had to send food back to the kitchen for example when I’ve ordered bacon and asked for it to be well done.

I like the aesthetic of the place and had high hopes, but the prices and hostile environment make me wish I hadn’t...

Ordered the cauliflower Mac n cheese because both on the menu and on the board behind the till it said ā€˜vegetarian’ Only to start eating it and there be chorizo in it! When I take it back up to the till all they have to say is ā€œyeah we changed itā€ But didn’t think it was necessary to let me know when I ordered it or when they brought it out to me They then tried to give me a sandwich as a replacement which was worth a lot less than what I ordered in the first place I go back to my table crying because not eating meat is a big deal for me and they didn’t not care one bit They eventually let me have the cheese and onion pie and brought it over and again, no apology, just telling me that the plate was hot One of the workers did a check back on every single table except us so our food could’ve been awful for all they cared. No apology, no nice gesture to make up with it, nothing! Definitely don’t recommend and the hash browns are barely cooked and the eggs are over cooked

Mar 2024: The food isn't what it was a few months ago. The hashbrowns were undercooked and cold in the middle. The beans were not flavourful and didn't taste as good as Lidl's own. The bacon was very fatty and not cooked for long enough. The tomatoes weren't roasted and had probably spent seconds in the pan. The slice of black pudding had been lightly fried on one side and was cold in the middle. Ironically, the scrambled egg was overcooked and springy. The air-conditioning was on, so it was a bit chilly sat inside. The coffee was the saving grace, that's still pretty good. Sep 2023: This was our first time here and we had a breakfast of avocado on toast with additional streaky bacon, and my son had banana pancakes with a babyccino. We were really pleased with the friendly service and the food was very nice. The pricing was on point too.
