My first visit to this 5 star worthy steakhouse, that could hold its own in any area of London renowned for its eateries such as soho, Shoreditch or Notting Hill, found in west street, Blandford Forum no less! Where you can order the finest steaks at a fraction of those London prices! Such as the best fillet steak I have ever tasted, cooked to perfection and melted on my tongue or Wagyu beef steak at a price we can all experience what all the hype is about - to start how about jumbo prawns cooked in an expertly spiced fresh pepper sauce or beautiful, big and fresh chargrilled scallops with a citrus bite!! Room for more ? From our seats we could peruse all of the desserts (freshly made each day) choice of ‘proper’ cheesecakes, banoffee pie, Millionaires torte, caramel panna cotta! I’ve only named less than half of what was on offer this evening and I’ve not even touched on the appetisers or main courses; a menu filled with variety and oozing class and culinary expertise!! From burgers to tomahawk steak this little classy restaurant in the centre of Blandford forum has something for everyone and as a pre Christmas treat my 18 yr old son and myself are firmly on the fist rung of the ladder to becoming regular diners. That, not only offers the best food I’ve eaten in years,(including Michelin stared restaurants) but boasts wonderful staff, fabulous ambience and a husband and wife ‘dream team’ owners, who had the vision to open such a smashing dinning experience that will no doubt have you gathering speed up the ladder to be firm regular’s without breaking the bank !!! Stumbled upon the steakhouse on a recent visit to Blandford. Worked in Blandford nearly 20 years ago. Liked the appearance from outside so ventured in looking for something to eat on a Saturday lunchtime. On entering the premises we were greeted by a well presented ,polite and friendly young lady who seated us straight away and took our order for drinks , and asked if we were panning to eat and if we wanted to see the menu. Pleasantly surprised by what was offered on the menu. Lots to chose from. Lots to offer , from a simple snack to a full on meal. It wasn’t mad busy but there was a nice smell to the place , so whatever was cooking added to the ambiance and helped with the decision to eat there. I ordered the chicken sizzler and my partner explained she wasn’t that hungry and said what kind of thing she was looking for to eat. The young lady serving us recommended a meal for my girlfriend . We didn’t have to wait to long and our food was on its way to us. Presentation was very nice and what we were served looked and smelt delicious. Both myself and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Both commenting on how fresh and tasty everything was. Would highly recommend this place. Even better it is a local family grown, family owned business, so you'll be supporting an independent business and all the awesome staff who work there. ❤️ This place is nestled in the cute Blandford Forum just a few steps away from the lovely Crown Hotel, very easy to find as it's on the same road just before Market Place.

• Parking nearby ✅ • There is seating on the ground floor and 1st floor. • Toilets are upstairs on the 1st floor too (2 total).

The bar and chefs kitchen are on the ground floor also, kitchen to the back just behind a curved wall which has the stairs behind it

Its an old building and they've done a great job revitalising both the outside and the interior feels super premium.

There's quite a few plug points with usb on them to, so decent if you have kids with devices or coming for a cheeky work meeting etc..

The food seriously good, came in good time & service was great from all the staff, including the chef and the owners mixing in with the awesome vibes.

Whether you came here regularly or just passing through, you could feel like making some new friends here with the staff and owners.

Also, their pizza from the takeaway a few doors down is damn good.. Got our fussy 11yr old lads...
