KFC Derby - Pride Park — Restaurant in England

This has to be the worst KFC going, called in for a quick bite to eat, my order a reg zinger box meal took 17 mins, from the receipt time to being handled over the counter. My partner ordered before I did and had to wait a further 8 to 10 minutes. The food was below average and no where near fast. Whilst we were waiting, 3 or 4 lots of customers came in and walked straight back out. The older female member of staff (possibly the manager) claimed she'd had a staff member walk out and left her short staffed. But despite telling another customer this, she took time to have her break and left 2 clearly inexperienced staff members to sort out the mess. A table off to our left had ordered in the drive through and had to come in to the store because of some mix up with their order. We heard that at the time we ordered, they'd been waiting more than 20 minutes. Then when their order was delivered to the table, they were missing items, then discovered an extra zinger burger. On receiving it back at the counter the manager looked at the orders on the back and obviously realized it should have been in one of those. I sensed that if I wasn't stood carefully watching her, she would have put it with an order on the back. It seemed to take her ages to put it in the bin.

I will never visit this store again. It is the pits.

KFC WYVERN -

I attended this KFC drive through today, 27th may 2021. To begin with, we ordered our food with a lady on the tannoy which was an incredibly slow process, with her disappearing for minutes at a time. When I got to the window I paid and had to wait a little while for our food. The lady then proceeded to pass us our food and was going to give us a drink, despite us not ordering kne. I pointed this out and she apologised. Upon looking at the food, my rice box barely had any rice in it. I didn’t complain as I didn’t feel the need to. On the other hand, my friend was given a Zinger Burger, despite us having ordered a fillet. She went back into this kfc and asked for this to be swapped and the guy on the till said ok. My friend reminded them she ordered with no salad, to which she received hostile behaviour. The man who had spoken to her began to talk under his breath, swearing about her, right in front. He then spoke to the other guy making the burgers saying ‘sorry mate, you gotta do it apparently the customer is always right’. The guy making the burger proceeded to make his frustration very clear and visibly mumbled profanities about my friend so she would hear. Overall, I think the staff are rude, entitled and shouldn’t be working in a customer facing job if they would like to abuse their customers If his colleague had got our order right from the beginning, he wouldn’t of had the hassle of having...

We visited at 22.30 last Wednesday. Though the restaurant lights were on, all the Car Park lights were off, whether because of a fault or the staff trying to discourage late customers............? The Drive-Thru menu boards were also not lit, and so unreadable. Because they were unlit, I assumed they had closed, so I drove past the ordering point. We drove round the corner to drive out the exit, but there was a car at the food collection window, waiting for their order. When it drove to the exit, I drove to that collection window, and asked the staff member if they were still open, and if so can I order from him as all the lights were off outside the restaurant? He said no, I have to drive all the way round to the darkened ordering point again, and try ordering from the staff member, from off my partners phone app. Our first two requests were refused as apparently they had run out, though we did get some food eventually. We were then told we couldn't pay by touch. Fortunately, we had our debit card. Then this negative experience continued, I had been given no napkins, condiments, or sauces, and I had no cutlery of ANY kind to eat my side of Coleslaw. Like the few other drive thru customers at the same time as us, we sat in the unlit car park to eat our food. All in all, a very awful experience.
