I recently had the pleasure of dining at the KFC located in Gillingham, and I must say, it was an enjoyable experience overall. Here's a review of my visit to this popular fast food establishment.
Ambiance: The restaurant had a clean and inviting atmosphere. The seating area was spacious, and the interior design had a modern touch. The staff was friendly and welcoming, providing efficient service throughout my visit.
Food: KFC is known for its fried chicken, and this branch in Gillingham certainly did not disappoint. The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. Whether you prefer Original Recipe or Extra Crispy, the chicken was cooked to perfection. The menu offered a wide variety of options, including chicken sandwiches, wraps, and signature sides like coleslaw and mashed potatoes. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was served hot and fresh.
Service: The service at this KFC location was commendable. The staff was attentive, taking orders promptly and ensuring that customers were satisfied. The food was prepared quickly, and the staff members were helpful in answering any questions I had. The only minor drawback was the occasional long wait during peak hours, but given the restaurant's popularity, it was understandable.
Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment is crucial for any dining establishment, and KFC in Gillingham met those expectations. The dining area, as well as the restrooms, were clean and well-maintained. The food preparation area was visible to customers, and I observed the staff following proper hygiene practices.
Value for Money: KFC's pricing is generally competitive within the fast-food industry, and the Gillingham branch was no exception. The portion sizes were substantial, offering good value for money. The combo meals and promotions provided additional savings, making it an affordable option for a quick and satisfying meal.
Improvement Areas: While my experience at KFC in Gillingham was positive overall, there were a couple of areas that could be improved. Firstly, the parking situation could be more convenient, as finding a spot nearby can be challenging during busy periods. Additionally, it would be great to see more vegetarian or vegan options on the menu to cater to a wider range of dietary preferences.
Conclusion: If you're craving delicious fried chicken and a quick, satisfying meal, KFC in Gillingham is definitely worth a visit. With its pleasant ambiance, friendly service, and mouthwatering chicken, it delivers on the promise of a finger-lickin' good experience. Just be prepared for potential parking challenges and limited options for...
Read moreI have just left this awfull place. I made an order to take out and as they we getting my order ready, they placed the food they was going ro give me in the hidden microwave in a room to the side to re-heat the food.
When i asked the girl if she had just done this she said yes and was very clueless as to what the problem was. I asked her if she was paying for fresh and got give old cold re-heated food if that was ok, let alone the food saferty aspect of this and she just shugged and looked like she had no idea what i was saying.
When the person in charge came over as i asked for a refund as i refuse to spend my money there for this kind of food she really hesitated giving me my refund offering me 4 times to make fresh food even thoigh the damage had been done.
My advise for anyone going here is dont unless u want to be ill or deal with people who have no knowlege of food safety it seems. Id avoid this place like the plague. They need to train thier staff better before they...
Read moreUsed the drive through on 15 June 2020 to rider a family meal. It turned out that the attendant misunderstood my order, but I realise that these things can happen, and was very calm and polite while another attendant attempted to correct the order when we go tto the collection window. All seemed to end well.
When we got home to eat, we discovered that the entire 10-piece bucket consisted of breast meat, save for two wings, and one of our sides was not what we ordered. I've never seen anything like it, and I can't imagine how such a thing could happen the way it did and be unintentional.
In hindsight, there did seem to be something a little off about the whole exchange. At no time was I ever impolite, condescending or otherwise unpleasant, so to find what seemed like a deliberate attempt by someone on that team to ruin our meal, simply for asking for what we ordered, was disappointing.
I hope I'm wrong, but still I doubt we'll be back...
