If you are thinking of going into this branch of KFC....... don't !!! Absolute chaos, placed my order for two mini fillet burgers at 2:13pm on Saturday 11 Jan. The order appeared on the "We are cooking your food" screen and after about 15 minutes moved on the "Your order is ready" screen . When I went to the counter to pick up my order I was told it wasn't ready so I pointed out that according to the screen it was. I was then told that even though one screen said it was ready the screen the staff use did'nt as the two screens don't work together. I then waited another 1/2 hour and still no food even though orders which I witnessed being ordered after mine were being served. When I queried why orders weren't being processed in order I was simply told they just weren't. Finally I gave up and asked for the manager to who I complained and asked as to why everything was such a shambles and with no satisfactory answer I asked for a refund. There were other irate customers there who had waited longer than me with children in tow. I personally never eat this crap and only ventured in because my other half does like it and we thought it would be a quick snack. My advise would be to go anywhere other than KFC. The staff were slow and nigh on useless at chasing up my order and lets be fair, fast food it definitely aint. They employ kids, who have by the looks of it no training and no idea how to run a business . With regards to this particular branch specifically - the young lady at the counter seemed to have no idea what was going on, getting orders confused and arbitrarily moving things in and out of different bags at random. The restaurant itself was filthy, with discarded wrappers piled high on tables and on top of overflowing bins. The floors were covered with scraps of food, used serviettes and abandoned straws.
Partway through our visit, a young man came out and began cleaning up with no real sense of urgency, although to be fair he was being asked to clean up a large restaurant singlehandedly. A few minutes after his appearance, a manager appeared to replenish the empty straw dispenser on the counter, then took the young man aside and spoke to him while gesturing broadly at the mess in the restaurant, before disappearing behind the scenes, never to be seen again. I hope she realises the sheer audacity she displayed by stopping him while he was cleaning, only to tell him to clean, and then simply leave without offering assistance.

Read moreWhilst I understand the crunch of handling both online and in-person orders, the way it was handled was appalling. Staff showed no awareness of the situation, working at a snails pace. A fire alarm went off and continued to do so. Staff made a small effort to turn it off, but gave up quickly - bearing in mind it was full of family's and a few children began crying. I was also appaled by the fact that one member of staff was chewing her crusty musty dusty gum whilst handing and preparing food.
Usually I am very sympathetic to those working in the food service industry, but the amount of stress that was caused to not only me, but many families trying to calm their hungry and distressed spawn.
I don't want to slow business down by any means. Its just we were in a rush, the place wasn't that full and they only had around 6 people working.
