Ewings — Restaurant in England

Just popped in as other places had either stopped doing breakfast, or had run out of things. Saw the sign outside - breakfast until 12. Instead of the small breakfast advertised on the board I opted for the fuller breakfast, while my wife opted for an omelette. Wow! It was amazing. So often mushrooms are frozen or tinned, these tasted like they had been picked this morning out back and done on the skillet. Vile food.no baguette a burger in a brioche bun. With chilli from a tin slapped over it. Chips are from farm foods or lidil. Delivery driver turns up with a deliveroo bag but its a just eat order okay. No way of cancelling when it's late. Took one look and fed it to the seagulls no doubt this would of ended up in the belly of the delivery driver and his family if I had cancelled the order. Stay away folks and dont...

I lunched at Ewings today with my husband. What a relief to be served in a near normal environment in these days of Covid hysteria.

The precautions are sensible and not over the top. The staff are friendly and the food very good quality. I had a bacon and mushroom omelette - superb! My husband had a proper English breakfast. The tea was good quality too and plenty of it.
