We were in Newquay last week with my mom (who is coeliac and therefore needs gluten free food), when we spotted some fantastic looking cakes in the window of Koffi & Crowst. We noticed that most of them had Gluten Free written on the label so thought we would try them out, and we were delighted. My mom went in to discuss what she could eat, and was given a number of items for free so she could try them out. The staff seemed genuinely interested in catering for people who are often forgotten in food outlets. We had the Salted Caramel brownie, normal brownie, creme egg brownie, Kinder Bueno brownie and all were incredible. My mom had 3 GF scones - plain, fruit and cheese and she said all of those were fantastic. Everything we tried was gluten free and all was great.
We could not reccomend Koffi & Crowst enough and will certainly be returning next time...
Read moreAwful experience the male staff was very very rude his name is Paul, there was no place to sit so the lady at the billing suggested we order everything in take away and later there was place to sit so we sat, I had ordered a salad which had a price difference of £2 and rest was all same price. There was no need for him to insult us by screaming at us as the bill was not even paid n he could have charged us instead. I would never ever visit this place ever again would suggest that if you are an Indian u might wanna give it a thought as I din get what was it all about. Also for £6 salad was too less and they charged us £8 anyways so ya you know what it was about. Would suggest all Indians not to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the absolute pleasure of enjoying the most wonderful scones here ā freshly baked, light, and utterly delicious. What makes this place truly special isnāt just the food (though the scones alone are worth the trip!) but the kindest family who run the cafe. Their warmth, genuine care, and love for what they do shines through in every detail.
Itās rare to find somewhere that feels this welcoming and heartfelt. They truly deserve nothing but success, and I really hope everyone visiting Newquay takes the time to pop in and experience it for themselves. A proper Cornish treat, served with a smile that stays with you long after...
