Lartista Ristorante — Restaurant in England

We were looking for a new restaurant in luton somewhere to take my parents. A quick Google search, and we found Lartistra Restorante. Parked close to the restaurant and was greeted by the chef who had just come out the back door as we parked up, made us feel extremely welcome. We ordered our food from the main and special menu. I must say food was exceptional. All four of us enjoyed not a bad thing to say about it. I asked for an extra large portion of the seafood pasta with a hint of chilli. Not sure why this restaurant has all 5* reviews as we were left disappointed.

“Artisan” bread basket was toasted sliced hovis-type bread with packets of Flora. The “Burrata” starter was a hard ball of low-quality mozzarella. Lobster ravioli wasn’t homemade or fresh as specified, the filling was a paste. Carbonara is untraditional and made with cream. A couple of the dishes were mixed up too.

The food was presented nicely and the staff were very friendly but unfortunately the food is not authentic Italian and is overpriced for what it is. Perfectly fine meal, but it is not advertised correctly. I hope this feedback is constructive as a nice Italian restaurant in the area...

10 out of 10 !!! The most amazing dining experience you will ever have. Chef, Artan, has magic in his hands and passion for his work - delivering his customers the best meals with great presentation. Every dish is simply outstanding!! We had nibbles, starters, mains and desserts. Everything was delicious Dog friendly outdoor seating was brilliant - our Barney was well looked after. Staff were so super friendly and attentive. Artan made us feel welcome, it was so nice of him to come out to talk to us. This restaurant is by far one of the best we have ever eaten at.
