If you want to wait two hours for a food delivery, then for it to arrive stone cold, or just to say warm, or partly raw as I discovered after my final call to the restaurant, then by all means order from here. Staff at the restaurant were uninterested, as was the driver when he eventually arrived. The manager when I eventually spoke to him said I would receive a full refund and a phone call from head office. He did offer replacement food but I didn't fancy waiting for another two hours because I had to get up for work this morning.
I have just received a text message from Just Eat:
"The restaurant isn't going to give you any money back for your delayed order. They say: "We're really sorry your order wasn't delivered on time. We hope you enjoyed your food.""
Well my food was not on time, I did not enjoy my food and I am £20 lighter for the privilege of receiving the worst takeaway service I've ever had. Suffice it to say they are liars who will no longer be receiving my business. Perhaps losing my business will not impact them but I will be telling my friends and family just how god awful my experience was. Word of mouth is a thing. Remember that when you deliver raw and cold food and lie about...
Read moreI’ve ordered from Lebaneat for a long time, this weekend we decided to order from there as I have raved on about the food for long enough and it was my partners first time. We were really looking forward to it, delivery time was fine and as expected just over an hour but the food unfortunately fell extremely short. The sides chips, rice, salad and Humous were fine. The mains however arrived incorrect and honestly we were gutted after a long day and £40 later. One of the mains the mixed kofta was correct however it was very average. The main let down was what we were looking forward to most, we also ordered a chicken shawarma to share, and what arrived was far from a shawarma- Lebanese bread with chicken wings and chunks of lamb inside, with peppers that tasted of nothing but smoke. I could have called the restaurant but by this time it was after 8.30pm and to correct it re deliver we didn’t think would be worth it. Sadly over half went in the bin, we were left underwhelmed. The shawarma is usually so amazing, so disappointing that the order was so far from it. Not sure Lebaneat will be our choice of take away...
Read moreExcellent takeaway, as an avid fan of Lebanese food I have been going to get a takeaway from here for months. I live 20miles away so my timing was off till Tuesday 2nd June when my journey back down the A1 coincided with the lunch time opening hours! Despite a restricted luncheon menu (totally understandable) and having to reheat (tin foil, warm oven, 15mins) the food (chicken and lamb mains) it was all scrumptious. Took all four starters and they lasted over two meals with the bread (which whilst not true Lebanese bread was still delicious). Definitely looking forward to the next one. The reason I only gave four stars was that they forgot the garlic sauce (which the lamb really kinda needed🥴) that the parking was a nightmare (not really their fault but be aware it's horrendous during the day) and they didn't take cards only cash ........eat...
