Vina Pho — Restaurant in Great Britain

Yes, this did quench my thirst for pho since I haven't had a pho for more than 3 years. We ordered pho, curry rice and summer rolls. The portion of dishes were generous! All except soup pho were good. Probably, our expectations were too high. Both the pho and beef can be done better; imo, pho was a bit stiff (others may like it being "al dente"), the beef was rather "chewy" and the broth was not perfect. I prefer both pho and beef being more tender, and broth being clearer and less salty. I must say the beef in the ordered curry was more tender. The beef pho would be more enjoyable with the same tenderness of the beef. Almost missed the chilli oil, it's really a great companion for the soup pho! Lastly, the atmosphere and the service were all great! The waitresses were refilling our glasses with water. Sorry, we didn't order any drinks, but just tap water. I will return to try out the other dishes. Hopefully, the soup pho will improve and I will be sure to give it...

I really loved my experience at vina pho! I got the stew beef noodle soup, the portion size was massive it was basically two meals in one as I got it to take away (still tasted yummy reheated). The broth was soooo yummy it was super flavourful and rich the meat was very soft and tender the noodles were nicely cooked and not over done! I would really recommend it with the hoisin sauce if your sauce person (they have it on the table with the others ) I think the price is really good for the quality and the portion size! (Especially in this economy 🤣) the atmosphere is nice but it’s not a super fancy restaurant it’s quite a casual come in and eat kind of place but even for that it’s rly nice and cozy 😁 I will say if you practice Hinduism and choose a seafood meal instead make sure your clear and ask about the beef as the person I was with is Hindu and is pescatarian and found a little bit of beef in the prawn pho. I ordered from Vina Pho last night after wanting to try it for some time and I was shocked and disappointed. The food looked and smelled good, I ordered chicken summer rolls and beef pho. I bit into the first summer roll and it felt too soft.

On inspection I removed all the chicken from the roll to discover it was undercooked and pink. Complained to Uber Eats as if I hadn't realised it could have made me very unwell. They offered me a refund for the item which I think is a bit rubbish, I would have liked my whole order refunded really for the inconvenience. Whilst I believe this may be thigh meat which is generally darker in colour, you can see this is not cooked properly.

The beef pho was good but I really couldn't eat it after nearly eating raw chicken. Really disappointed to even write this as this place is highly rated and generally the food looks great, but how this was passed off as cooked...
