I had mixed tandoori grill, the shish kebab was dry as if it has been over heated in microwave. I ordered saag ghost, tarka dhall for my main and my daughter ordered chicken tikka. The lamb was very chewy and the dish was warm, the dhal was too watery and had no taste. My daughter couldn't eat the chicken tikka as it so hard again as if it has been over heated in microwave. When I told the owner about the meal he was not happy. He told one of his staff "This is what you get when you deal with Asian" On a Friday night there was only 2 customers, food was not nice at all. Where to start 🤔 ordered meal at 6.32pm, told it would be 85 minutes, OK, before 8pm, all good. 8pm, rang to see where order was, told 25 mins, rang 8.30pm, told would be whenever, as waiting for the driver, 2 hours since order went through! My food was cooked and waiting for a driver! I appreciate that restaurants are struggling for drivers etc, but why not ring me or be honest when I rang? At 8.40pm I sent my husband to pick up the food. We received our delivery charge back and some chicken tikka thrown in, would I go there again? Unfortunately not a great experience! Visited for the 6 course special, asked for a bottle of prosecco but 'We don't do anything like that here' Never mind a bottle of white... We were the only ones in the restaurant however in total we were there for 2 hours. The food wasn't the greatest, Poppadoms were soggy, Chicken was dry and my lamb curry had very little lamb. I was looking forward to using the naan to wipe the sauce but found it doughy and undercooked. Due to the wait we ordered some soft drinks that came as flat as water.
