I really don't want to leave a negative review because we're all just trying to make a living but my experience here today was less than stellar. I had booked a table early; 5pm on Good Friday. We were left to our own devices until I decided to order at the bar as no one had come to get our order.
We had both ordered fish and chips, but we were told that they had sold out so I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger. When it arrived it was pretty undercooked and very thick for a patty. I would have mentioned this to the waiter but they did not come back to check how we were doing.
I left most of the burger as it was still quite pink in the middle. My partner had a Tikka Masala which she said was very nice however. When it came time to leave, our table hadn't been cleared and no one had come to ask if we wanted anything else so I decided to settle up at the bar. The young man gladly took my payment but I was not asked how the meal was, so I didn't provide any feedback and instead decided to write this review.
I didn't want to make a fuss at the time but I would have provided these points as feedback if I was asked. I also appreciate that Good Friday may be busy, but we were the only people in the restaurant. I hope you can rectify these mistakes as you have a lovely venue and it was a real pleasure sipping a beer...

The little three in thirsk poses as a traditional cosy old fashioned boozer but upstairs is a hidden gem of Mexican influenced delights. Top notch friendly service, local stunning ale, a juicy satisfying red wine and comforting food that wraps you up like your favourite blanket. It's sad to admit how dire eating out has gotten but the proof of such was obvious when we all got excited over a perfectly formed onion ring made from a whole piece of onion instead of the chopped/shaped rubbish... No need to describe each meal because every course and each diners meal was of equal excellence. If you're looking for honest cooked food for great value then...

Perhaps I was unfortunate to come in on quiz night and being forces to listen to the clumsy and very over the top "quiz master" (?) But despite the awkwardness of the staff, I found the beer of poor quality and way over priced. I would not be tempted to eat or here or more certainly I would never return. Do yourself a favour and go to The Three Tuns (Wetherspoons) which is far superior and...
