Hung Moey Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway — Restaurant in England

If you don't mind a few rowdy, noisy locals, then this is a highly polished rough diamond. Hiding away in a corner of the Market Place, it's easy to overlook. Even when you walk in it still just looks like your average takeaway with a restaurant trashed on. But trust me, it's worth venturing in.

The staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. Just the right amount of time given for you to choose what to order, and no big waits between course. Though they do ask if you want a pause.

The food was wonderful. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was full of flavour. The aromatic lamb starter for 2, very generous and equally lovely. For the mains we had beef stay and char sui pork in ginger and sorting onion. Both dishes were amazing! The pork was especially good with ginger ginger just bordering on, but never quite, too much. Perfectly balanced.

Ate here a few times can't argue with the food was great Had my family over this new year and fancied a Chinese takeaway on new years day we spent £62 on 3 mains and a couple of sides,also some chips !! Guys don't know whats going on it's the worst takeaway iv ever had !! My wife and I ate here an hour ago, we had wonton soup, Salt & Pepper ribs to start which were excellent with Chicken & Seasonal Vegetables with Crispy Beef in Hot fruity sauce and Chicken fried rice. All the food was fresh & flavourful, it was hot and cooking perfectly, my wife and I are not locals but are learning our way round, we had to say it was the best food we have had, the staff were polite, kind and could not he any more accommodating.
